Re: How is your dynasty going

So I started a secondary dynasty as an OC at New Mexico. I'm struggling quite a bit, but getting some wins. Right now 3-1 with the 'highlights' being a 29-28 win over Pitt in Pittsburgh, and a 42-34 loss to UNLV, at home, to open Mountain West conference play. Throwing a ton because my line can't seem to open holes for my running back. Maybe I need to work a few more option plays into my play calling for now. My QB is pretty mobile so that may be a way to get some more balance in my statistics and possibly some more wins.

Honestly, it'll be a miracle if I reach 6 wins for bowl eligibility. I don't really see games that'll be even close to easy wins out of the New Mexico State game, and since that's a rivalry game, anything can happen.

Re: How is your dynasty going

I play all the games on Heisman difficulty with 7 min quarters

Year 1 (2013) I started as an OC with University of South Alabama and went 9-4

Year 2 (2014) I stayed with USA as an OC and went 8-5

Year 3 (2015) Got an offer from Pitt to be their OC and helped them to a 10-3 season

Year 4 (2016) Old Dominion was the first team to offer me a HC position and i took it and went 6-6. This was my first season playing since NCAA10 that I haven't made it to a bowl game and it felt great because winning too much just isnt fun.

Year 5 (2017) HC at ODU I led the team to a 12-1 record and a Sugar Bowl victory

Year 6 (2018) HC at ODU I moved the team from an Independent to the SEC for a challenge and ended up with a 10-4 record

Year 7 (2019) HC at ODU my only losses were to Bama and Auburn and I finished the season with an 11-2 record and another Sugar Bowl victory over Army

Year 8 (2020) Bama's HC retired in the offseason and they offered me the job but I decided to play out the final year of my contract at ODU (I received extension offers but declined them) My starting QB got injured week 1 and will be out for 8 weeks and I am currently 7-0 and already beat Bama.

After going 40-7 in the last 3.5 seasons I feel I am winning too much already, my team is about a 90 overall and I continually have a top 25 recruiting class. After a few years of playing NCAA Football I have realized that once your team reaches the top all the best recruits want to go to your school and your team never really gets any worse. I am trying to come up with some ideas to make the game more challenging for example: I must start with a 1 or 2 star school and possibly move them to a tougher conference if they aren't already in one and can only stay with the school for a max of 4 or 5 years. Anybody else in a similar situation or have any other ideas please let me know!!

Year 1 As oc at Louisiana Tech we went 10-3 in the C_usaFinishing Second in the Division to Ucf >_>. With the Number 1 scoring Offense and Worst Scoring Defense in the League. I lost all 3 of my Games by 4 points The Nc was Nebraska vs Arizona with Nebraska taking the Title.

Year 2 Louisiana Tech And Pals leave the C-Usa for the Aac we went 8-5 And again Finished Second in the Division to Ucf >_>. I had the Number one Scoring Offense, But yet again I had the worst scoring defense. Year 4 My Contract Expired and Tech did not make me Hc SO I left Lt
And went to .... Oregon We Blow out the Terrible Fcs team we played 83-10 But quickly Lose to usc the Next week so were 1-1 heading home to play Virginia .

Re: How is your dynasty going

In a game that featured many twists and turns, the Auburn Tigers hung on to defeat the Oklahoma Sooners 27-24 to win the 2022 BCS Championship in Phoenix, Arizona and make Auburn safety Cornelius Oliver a legend in the process.

A rematch of the classic 2019 BCS game in which Oklahoma won 34-27 with a defensive stop on the one yard line as time expired, it was the Tigers this time who came up with the late game red-zone defensive heroics to win this classic.

With the Sooners on the Tiger's 12 yard line and only needing a FG to send the game to overtime, Auburn's Oliver (SR; Arnold, MO) intercepted Oklahoma QB Chris Cade (JR; Lockhart, TX) in the end zone with 1:05 remaining to clinch the win for Auburn.

The Sooners had jumped out to a 17-6 halftime lead but on the first play from the line of scrimmage in the second half, Sooner RB Matt Fenner (JR; Waltham, MA) coughed up the ball on a big hit from Tiger DE Maurice Lowe (SR; Auburn, AL) and it was Oliver who pounced on the loose football for a 23 yard major to get Auburn back in the game.

The Sooners responded by intercepting Tiger QB Connor Shuler (SR; Walker, MI) deep in Auburn territory and subsequently scored on a two yard run by Troy Dixon (JR; Galveston, TX) to regain the 11 point lead but it wouldn't be enough as in the fourth quarter it was all Auburn.

The Tigers capped off a 75 yard drive with a one yard touchdown run by Phil Brown (SR; Verona, MI) and a subsequent two-point conversion by Shuler pulled them to within a field goal with 9:24 left on the clock. After a Sooner three-and-out, the Tigers again drove for a score, this time settling for game-tying 33-yard field goal by Mike Macklin (FR; San Benito, TX). The Sooners would fumble the ensuing kickoff but the Tigers couldn't capitalize on a first-and-goal situation and settled for another Macklin field goal, this one from 19 yards out to give Auburn a 27-24 lead that would eventually stand as the final score.

Oklahoma would get the ball back on their own 20 yard line with 2:25 remaining and drive to Auburn's 12 before Oliver's heroics.

Following the turnover, Auburn survived a scare when they couldn't convert a first down and had to punt. With three seconds on the clock and the ball on their 35, a Sooner Hail Mary was intercepted but a roughing the passer penalty gave the Sooners another shot at the end zone, this time from midfield but Cade's desperation attempt was futile, giving the Tigers the win and payback from 2019.

In my New Mexico dynasty, beat New Mexico State 20-17, though they should have crushed us due to a ton of INTs thrown by my QBs. Then lost to Wyoming 31-28 in OT... a pick in overtime sealed the win for them. That one hurts because we had a lead of 14 points heading into the 4th quarter.

Ok so San Jose sitting 2-8 with 2 home games left. UNLV and 25th ranked Nevada. Between the 2 home games we have a ton of recruits visiting. 5*star Ath and a couple 3* corners. We come out of the UNLV game with a 34-31 win.

In recruiting I Got a commitment from 3* corner and a big lead on the 5* Ath. Currently sitting with a 105th ranked class with 5 3* players.

Next up tonight is #25 ranked Nevada. Really going to need this win or good showing.

On a side note switched to the Texas playbook and I think I fell in love. I may have to edit it to put a few formations from under the center to run out of but I like it for the most part.

After going 7-6 with a Potato Bowl win with New Mexico, I was able to bring in a 4 star athlete who became my new QB. Now I have a blistering offense at New Mexico, and I'll probably leave for a low level school this off-season.

1st year at Louisville and we need 5 WR's! Unheard of right? You know what's even more unheard of? Having 29 WR's have you as their top school! Doesn't matter because I will leave next year as our top 16 players(minus our kicker) are all seniors. They'll be losing every starter on offense put their right tackle and FB. On defense it's every starter but the ROLB, LOLB, and SS. And they lose their punter. Should be some rough years after this.

I need help! But to answer your question yeah it didn't last long. I can't play defense, so I'm just going to post in here and only play as an OC the whole dynasty.

After 4 seasons of being the OC of the UCF knights with back to back appearances in the National Championship game (1-1 both against Florida State) I am moving on and have become the new head coach of the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
