That's almost as annoying as getting stuck in a cut scene or replay while trying to run the hurry up. What genius decided to let time run during those things?

Re: How is your dynasty going
I was able to replicate real life by having my Florida State Seminoles go 14-0 and winning the BCS National Championship. I used a custom set of Hybrid sliders (AA offense/Heisman defense) and played 7-minute quarters.
Played Alabama in the title game (they were No. 1 and I was No. 2) and wound up pulling out a tough 24-17 victory. Ball control was key for me, because Alabama was tough to stop, running a lot out of 3- and 4-wide sets.
I was tested a couple of times during the season, and nearly lost to Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship, but the Hokies dropped a potential GW TD pass in the final seconds.
I think this was the first time I won a NC since NCAA 06. The post-game celebration was very short and again, no real emotion from the crowd, so it's a little deflating to win and not have it feel all that exciting.
I'll probably put the game down for a few months now, and then pick it back up over the summer.Currently Playing:

Re: How is your dynasty going
Might have just figured out a way to beat RDS! I started a new dynasty with the normal conferences. I used USA Todays final 126 rankings and a random number generator. First one was a rival of my coaches alma mater so that was out and then the second one I could have made plausible based on a former NFL team but I wanted a school in the South East. Third roll was 119 aka FIU. It was perfect. Now for my coach. Unfortunately I don't have time for a write up but that will be coming today or tomorrow. So you don't get to find out my coach yet. You are all familiar with him and some will like it and other will hate it. But yep you can find out in the next couple of days. For a playbook I will be running his college coaches offense and a 3-4 defense even though I am starting as an OC. Feel free to guess who the coach is!NCAA-Ohio State

Re: How is your dynasty going
Starting my 5th season (2017) of a Wyoming Cowboys dynasty. I created HC Craig Bohl who coached the NDSU Bison to 3 straight FCS titles and will be taking over at Wyoming next year.
First year: 9-5, lost to SDSU in MWC championship game, beat Marshall in Hawai'i Bowl
Second Year: 11-2, did not play in MWC championship thanks to a conference loss to Boise State, beat UCLA in Las Vegas Bowl
Third year: 11-3, beat Washington State in MWC championship (Wazzu had been relegated from Pac 12 the year prior), beat ASU in epic 3-OT Las Vegas Bowl, promoted to Pac 12
Fourth year: 7-6, obviously no Pac 12 title game appearance, beat West Virginia in Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl
Have a redshirt JR QB Ryan Hunter who was a part of my 1st recruiting class. He's a 93-OVR pocket passer now. Also have a 98-OVR HB named Brad Herron who might break a bunch of school records this year. He's a beast of a power back, 5'9" 204, but came out of high school with a 440-lb bench.
Hoping to make a push for a berth in the Pac 12 championsip and Rose Bowl this year, but might be 1-2 years away from seriously competing. Gonna be tough sledding again this year with a visit from preseason #1 and defending champ UCLA as well as USC, Stanford, and Oregon to go with OOC Missouri.
Been posting about this in my dynasty thread and this dynasty is a lot of fun and still has a lot of life yet to go.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: How is your dynasty going
2-0 in my first season as HC (third season overall) at ODU. Nailbiter at Oregon State, 41-38 OT win. Keeping the Monarchs undefeated has been a challenge.
Next up, C-USA opener at home against UTEP.

Tebow Ditches ESPN, Take Coaching Job!1.89tebow.jpg
1.87tebow.jpg
1.88tebow.jpegfiu_logo.gif
That's right! Even before its launch Tim Tebow has ditched the SEC network to take the OC opening at FIU. Tebow, 26, had a promising NFL career despite his haters, before being traded from the Broncos, whom he had won a playoff game with, to the New York Jets. With the Jets, Tebow sat behind Mark Sanchez. Despite much criticism from the media, Rex Ryan refused to play Tebow, despite Sanchez's poor play. After that Tebow was cut and signed with the New England Patriots. Due to them having a future HOF QB in Tom Brady they despited to cut him also. After not hearing about Tebow for a few months, reports surfaced that Tebow had joined ESPN as an analyst for the SEC network that is to be launched in August 2014.
For those who don't know Tebow was one of one of the best and most popular college player of all-time at Florida. In 2006, his true freshman year, he was a backup to Chris Leak. That year he would come off the bench to be a short yardage weapon. He was a prominent piece on that National Championship team, rushing for the second most yards on the team. His sophomore year he was named the starting QB. He was questioned about his throwing skills. Despite that he would go on to silence his doubters, winning the Heisman trophy, the first sophomore to do so. He was unable to repeat in his junior year, although he finished third in the voting, on his way to leading his team to a National Title game win over Oklahoma led by Heisman winner Sam Bradford. His final season at Florida, he led the Gators to an undefeated regular season, before losing to eventual national champion Alabama Crimson Tide. He would go on to win his final collegiate game, a Sugar Bowl win over Cincinnati. At the end of his college career, Tebow held 5 NCAA, 14 Southeastern Conference, and 28 University of Florida statistical records. He was the SEC's all-time leader in career passing efficiency (170.8), completion percentage (67.1%), passing touchdown to interception ratio (5.5 to 1), rushing yards by a quarterback (2947), rushing touchdowns (any position) (57), and total touchdowns responsible for (145). Among many mentions in the NCAA Division-I record book, Tebow is ranked second in career passing efficiency, third in career yards per attempt (9.33), 8th in career rushing touchdowns, and also owns the record for most consecutive games in which he both threw at least one touchdown pass and scored at least one rushing touchdown (14). Despite several analysts saying he could revolutionize the game and projecting him as a first round pick, most people figured he would be a later round pick, perhaps going in the 3rd or 4th round. Ultimately he would be selected with the 25th pick by the Denver Broncos. Tebow played sparingly most of his rookie year as a backup before starting the last 3 games of the year. In 2011, Tebow was named the starter after a 1-4 start. Tebow would go on to lead his team to an 8-8 finish including 6 4th quarter comebacks. In his first playoff game, Tebow was able to doubt many of his haters once again throwing for 316 yards including the game-winning 80 yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime. The Broncos would go on to lose their next game to the New England Patriots. Despite this Tebow had seemed to have solidified himself as a starting Quarterback in the NFL. However, in the offseason the Broncos hit the jackpot and signed Peyton Manning. Due to this the Broncos traded Tebow to the New York Jets. Due to the lack of a talented coaching staff, Tebow was horribly misused that year. He would be cut in the offseason before catching on with the New England Patriots in training camp. Tebow did not make the team however and did not sign another team that year.
Being one of the most popular players in the NCAA and NFL, Tebow was able to lead the league the lead in jersey sales his rookie year. Being a well known devote Christian his celebration Tebowing became a very popular practice. In December 2013 it was announced the Tebow had taken a job as an analyst for ESPN. Despite saying that he had not given up on his NFL dream, it appears that dream has crashed and burned as he has taken the OC job at FIU.
It is expected that Tebow will run the same offense that he did in college. When asked about what jobs he may take in the future he was quoted as saying, "I plan to stay at FIU for a couple years. If I get a job offer from Florida however, I would immediately take it." It is also expected that he will not coach a single team that he ever played against in college. Although this move has received criticism from analysts, FIU athletic director Pete Garcia has said that the move is probably the best one he has made as an AD. FIU will open the season on August 31 at Maryland.NCAA-Ohio State

Re: How is your dynasty going
Starting my second season at San Diego State and we moved to the Pac 12 South. I also changed the offense from a Pro style offense to a One back offense since I was so slim on Fullbacks. I'm still learning the details of running a team and not just playing as them. I've taken some of the tips and details that you guys have put out there when it comes to recruiting and I hope I can be a bit successful. I think I have to change some of the House Rules about injuries and penalties. Maybe some sliders as well, I don't know. I didn't turn up the difficulty since I still want to compete but maybe the harder conference will keep me from going 11-1 again. While I started 2-0, it was against FCS Pirates and Rice. I barley one both. It may be a long season.Comment
