I have been focusing more on my running game this season and I have 3 backs who have been playing well.

Storm Johnson (SR) has 320 yards on 85 rushing attempts with 4 TD's and has averaged 3.7 yards per carry.

Kyle Alexander (FR) Has 267 yards on 77 rushing attempts with 2 TD's and has averaged 3.4 yards per carry.

William Stanbeck (SO) has 104 yards on 20 attempts with 4 TD's and has averaged 5.2 yards per carry

Not sure if I should keep going with my NDSU , it's been getting boring for me lately. I play another game today and I'll decide after.

A lot has been going on on the Tulane campus lately. An academic cheating scandal affecting the Men's Basketball team, walk-ons actually IMPRESSING at Fall Camp, and the creation of a new award dedicated to teamwork and perseverance. All that and more, in the latest edition of "Tulane Football: From Worst to First."

Can I say damn my San Jose team has falling hard after a 7-5 2013 season. We currently sit 2-8 with 2 games left. Both being home games against UNLV and division leader Nevada. I have a ton recruits visiting these 2 games.

I cant run the ball at all averaging like 2.5 yrds per carry. I have been running the Huskers offense playbook but starting next season I am going to find a nice 1 back pb to install. I don't use the fullback nearly enough to recruit that pos hard so I will just deal with walk-ons there.

The one-back can be great at a smaller school. You can rely on just one (or maybe two) guys to pound the ball all game without needing to recruit a ton of running backs. Having an extra TE or WR helps with the passing game too.

I always go one-back instead of pro style. I've found fullbacks to be basically worthless in this game - well, not worthless, but not beneficial enough to recruit or even use much.

Depends on your offense. I run what I call the "Two Back" offense. A lot of Shotgun, Pistol, Flexbone and even I-form. 2 or more backs in the backfield, either 2 HB's, 1 HB/1 FB, or even 2 FB's. A good FB in my offense can use his hands & legs to make plays, as well as contribute as a lead blocker. For me, FB is essential. If he can't establish a dominant force between the tackles, my speed RB's can't dominate the edge. They also can't do so if the FB isn't quick enough to get to his blocks.

You guys probably already knew this stuff, but like I said, it depends on your offense. FB is usually one of the first positions I scout/recruit every season, regardless of need.

I guess it depends on how you recruit. I've always landed good fullbacks.

My def is terrible. Ranked in the 100's on all stats. I have some good talent coming in on offence to go along with what I brought in last season except for running-backs. I have two athletes coming in with 95+ speed and I am going to move 1 to RB,

I have beat them all three years although they have been close.

I don't have NCAA14 yet - I (foolishly) bought Madden instead this year.

In past years, though, I haven't found the blocking AI to be good enough to run a lot of that option stuff or for a fullback to be actually useful. If it has improved, then I could definitely see a use for it.

I don't have 14 either. My dynasty runs on 13. Yeah, a lot of the blocking on option plays can be a crap shoot at times. But on 14 I hear it's overpowered. Still, running the Flexbone with a good FB has always been deadly to me. The one I've got right now is a rare gem. He can run, catch, AND block. Unless you're an elite team it's hard to get that.
