Gameday went back and forth between this matchup and the Tennessee vs Alabama game but ultimately decided on this one because of the nation wide ramifications. The game between Oregon and USC that made national news after Oregon cheated to win is still seeing effects now. The top 5 teams in the country have an undefeated team in the middle who shouldnt be undefeated so the Natty will be effected by that game, USC should be a 1 loss team playing a top 10 matchup against the #7 team which would give a bigger jump for the winner, and lastly Oregon will likely face the winner of this game in the P12 Championship which directly effects their spot in the natty, but with USC having that game taken they have to go undefeated to get to the P12 game and if they dont Oregon likely walks into the Natty. The outcome of that game has affected the entire season making this game enormous. On the field you have an Arizona team with an explosive offense lead by one of the top QBs in the country and 2 RBs that have yet to be slowed down. They will have a chance to prove they are for real this week but so far this offense has been scary. The ASU defense has played well but stopping USC will be a tall task. Moss can have a real big game in the air against this team if the oline takes advantage up front. I want to see the USC vs Oregon rematch and I think USC is obsessed with it so give me the Trojans

That's one of reasons I said it was looking rough for u guys lol. That and you guys just don't have the firepower to keep up with Colorado, if it turns into scoring race. Josi can only do so much. Anything is possible in the playoffs tho, just last yr Colorado lost in the 1st Rd and the fn Habs made it to the SC somehow lol.Comment

Quick notes from the other big games this week:
- 17 USC vs 8 ARIZONA ST
Arizona St is undefeated in the Pac 12 South and if they win this game it will be tough for anyone to catch them. USC wins they will still need help and must win out to face Oregon again.
- 6 ALABAMA vs 9 TENNESSEE
Only 2 teams in the SEC who have zero conference losses. Rivalry has been all Bama for a long time but Tennessee is hoping to finish this dream year strong and keep riding the wave.
- 16 MICHIGAN ST vs 4 OHIO STATE
OSU lost their first 2 games against OU and Oregon on the test settings, they haven't lost since. This team can still make a push even with 2 losses but this is their tough B1G stretch.
- 1 CLEMSON vs NC STATE
NCST knocked off undefeated #2 ranked FSU last week who was one of the hottest teams in the country the last 2 years. Clemson will not take this game lightly at all and they are thankful to be at home this week.Comment

First game all year that I felt like we actually played well on both sides of the ball for a full game. Think we only had 1 drop by the wr's, which is rare this year. Defense played lights out from TCU opening drive. Back ups came in with around a minute left in the 3rd and scored a few tds and the back ups on defense gave up a td as time expired. Texas beats TCU, 56-14. MSU beat OSU, Bama beat Tennessee and someone else highly ranked lost too, I just can't remember who.Comment

OKLAHOMA ST vs 5 OKLAHOMA

1st
OKST gets ball first and I jumped a pass with Lawrence on the 3rd play and ran it back. OKST answers right back with a 75yd td run to tie it at 7. We finally get the offense on the field but have to punt. Cowboys get another good drive and go up 14-7. Another empty drive gives the Cowboys a chance to extend the lead and they take advantage. OU cant figure out the Cowboys offense and the lead goes to 21-7. OU tries to make a big play but the DT beats the line and forces a fumble. Cowboys score the next play on a 26 yd pass and go up 28-7. OU starts to feel the pressure and goes for it on 4th and OKST gets the stop. They use the momentum again and get a 35 yd bomb for a td. 35-7. OU has a little time before the half and finally gets an offensive td on the drive. 35-14.
2nd
OU gets the ball first hoping to cut the lead to 14, good drive gets to the 10 on 4th and 3, OU goes for it but the OKST defense holds. OU defense finally wakes up and forces a 3 & out deep in OKST territory and the short field gets OU back on the board with 2:20 left in the 3rd. 35-21. OU finally forces a turnover with a pick on the sideline by Eaton. Sooners get down to the 5 and have 4&2, but the Cowboys get another redzone stop. OU gets another stop and puts a good drive together that ends in a td pass to Farooq with 6:25 left. Momentum had shifted but OKST flipped a switch and could not be stopped. They got down the field, got a 3rd and goal from the 8, tried a screen pass, we dont get to the RB til late and he breaks the tackle. 42-28 with 3:38 left. We saved the timeouts and made Caleb get aggressive, he threw 3/4 on the drive including a 36 yd pass to Mims and a 20 yd td to Major in the flats. 42-35 3:12 left. OKST gets to 3rd and long and throws a wheel route to the slot but we pick it off and run it back to the 20. 4 runs later its tied at 42 with 2:09 left. All they need is 3. We hold them to 3rd and 5 and they take a bomb because no one is open, Eaton gets his 2nd int. With 1:25 and 1 timeout we get in fg range and win it as time expires. Crazy game.Comment

[emoji91] 11 OHIO ST vs 15 PENN ST [emoji91]
Gameday is heading up north to Columbus to watch the 11th ranked Buckeyes take on the 15th ranked Nittany Lions. This game is going to be a good one. The Buckeyes have finally found their groove since replacing Coach JP and trying to find their identity. Since those 2 early losses they have won 5 of their last 6 with their only loss coming to Michigan State last week. Those 3 losses combined came from 3 top 10 teams with a total of 2 losses between them so these havent been pushovers. The polls still see Ohio State as one of the better teams in the country which is why they are at 11 with 3 losses, but this game will make or break their season. They desperately need to beat a good football team and they have an opportunity this weekend. A loss however could drop them out of the top 25. Penn State has alot to prove as well because with only 1 loss they have only climbed to 15. A win this week would put them in the top 10 setting up their showdown in a few weeks with Michigan State as the B1G Ten game of the year. Ohio State has the home field advantage and weapons everywhere on offense but their defense has been mediocre. Penn State on the other hand has the #1 ranked defense in the country. Offensively they have a top 5 running game and theyll need it this week. Im not sure who OSU is this year but after giving up 52 to MSU last week Im going with the Nittany Lions and that defense.
