I was suppose to start helping a friend redo his roof after work today, that didn't happen, so I had some free time and got my game in. We got the ball first and scored with ease. UCF got the ball and just like our last game, we couldn't tackle their Qb. Dude busted 2 long runs on their 1st drive and my guys were just bouncing off him. Game was back and forth for a little bit. Then we forced them to punt on 3 straight drives and our offense stayed hot all game. Back ups played the whole 4th quarter and we ran chew clock whenever we had the ball on offense. Texas beats UCF, 52-20.

Re: RIVALS 23-24
BYU vs 3 OKLAHOMA
Close game in the first half, we threw some interceptions and it killed our momentum. We also couldnt stop their pass at all. Got a late lead in the 2nd and went into halftime up 21-7 just off winning the 3rd down battle.
2nd half they scored first but we kept our balance and kept the 14 point lead. They almost scored again but a stop on 4th and 1 inside the 10 gave us some momentum. We got some big pass plays from Mims and Watkins, RB core and oline were solid, went up 35-14 before giving up a long td pass. 35-21. We tried to run out the clock inside the 10 on 3rd and 3, we would have had to fg on 4th because the play clock was less so we ran up the middle to kill the extra few seconds and they rolled my RB in from 6 yds out so we scored regardless. They scored in 2 plays and cut it to 14 again but that was all she wrote.

WEEK 14
-----------------
**** GOTW ****
[emoji91] 9 MICHIGAN vs 6 MICHIGAN ST [emoji91]
Gameday is going back up north to the state of Michigan for the second straight week, but this time its in Ann Arbor for another ice cold battle between 6 Michigan State and 9 Michigan. Michigan State is coming off of a huge home win against Penn State who took them down to the wire. The Spartans are on a mission right now and they believe they can beat anybody in the country right now. The Wolverines werent sure how much weight this game would hold after their 3rd loss of the season besides rivalry bragging rights, but this game as it stands will actually determine the B1G Championship. Michigan State leads the B1G East with a 7-1 record, OSU is 2nd at 7-2, Michigan is 3rd at 6-2. If Michigan State wins its a done deal, but because Michigan beat OSU a few weeks ago, a Michigan win this week would mean a 3-way tie with Michigan beating both OSU and MSU, putting them in the B1G Championship for the first time in over a decade. On the field you have to start with Kenneth Walker III who is currently 3rd on the Heisman list. Both teams have outstanding QBs who have been spectacular this season, but the difference in this game will be Walker who is a force. If Michigan can slow down Walker it will take them putting their focus on him which will open up the passing game for Thorne who has 34 tds and 4 ints on the year. Michigan would have that same strategy if Corum wasnt out so the game will be in McNamara's hands. Michigan State has the best offense in the country and the 2nd best ppg so I cant go against them. Sparty by 10 on the road

Re: RIVALS 23-24
Offense kinda struggled today, especially in the first half. We were having trouble in the redzone and 3rd downs. Defense played well all game, only giving up a fg. Houston only td came from their defense on a sack fumble they returned 70 something yards. 3rd quarter we traded punts 2 or 3 times, then we scored 17 straight points. Back ups played pretty much the whole 4th quarter again. Texas beats Houston, 37-10.Comment

Re: RIVALS 23-24
It was civil war time in Eugene, Oregon and senior night for our amazing seniors! Hats off on our defense for forcing 6 turnovers and our offense first string scoring every drive but one. With the win we clinched the pac-12 north and remain kings of the north. We’re set to play the 12-0 Arizona st sun devils in the pac-12 conference championship in two weeks and we plan on three peat as pac-12 champs

Re: RIVALS 23-24
3 OKLAHOMA vs CINCINNATI
We went down 14-0 quick, couldnt stop anything they did to save my life. We got some offense finally after hitting a deep pass to Watkins. Defense got them to miss a long and we responded tying it at 14-14. Both teams traded points until the end of the half when they made a fg just in time. 31-28, no defense on our part at all.
Second half the game started lagging so I was ready to break the game AND the tv. We managed to get a td at the end of the 3rd and take the lead back but it was ugly ball being played. 35-31. 4th we cant score but they cant either. We hold them to a 4th and Mario houses the punt return for a 42-31 lead. We force a quick turnover and score on the next drive. 17 point lead was enough to coast from there.
Texas next.

WEEK 15
-----------------
Do your recruiting. The only game worth checking on this week is #1 Air Force and Colorado State. Air Force is significantly better and should win handily, but this is a rivalry so maybe CSU keeps it close. Slim chance though. I expect AF to play in the championship this year
