Regarding the coach Sub Frequency, the roster I'm using that was globally edited for all coaches to be set at 60, can I just edit the coaches on the fly as I play each game? Or do I need to edit every coach first? Basically, does it effect sim stats in any way? I would guess I can do it on the fly..
If you've been using 65/80 subs, I don't know how big of a difference you'd see.

As for sub frequency, I have done a global edit (and see a tad more realistic outcomes on simmed games). However, there is no reason you can't manually set them before each game.

I haven't gone there yet....I like that I have seen more injuries with 50 fatigue. However, the next logical step would be to go to a higher frequency for user teams....of course, that will tilt the advantage even moreso into the CPU's favor (not necessarily a bad thing). I'm using a fair number of formation subs in the meantime.

So, you're saying for now you've kept User teams at 80 while CPU is at 50?

Nope, using 50 for both user and CPU....giving that burn before deciding whether or not to bump up the user sub frequency.

Got it. I'm two games in with it 50 for both, no complaints so far.

No, that is the coach mode set. Use the set on the very first post.

I am starting year 18 in an online dynasty and looking to change things up. I am really looking for a more competitive CPU game as I don't want users getting bored. I am testing your sliders now

I am so confused about he sub frequencies so you say first to put cpu and human sub-frequency at 50. Then you say to put it on 60 for CPU is that for offense and defense? and then you say to put user at 80 is that for offense and defense also. So is it 50- 50 for cpu and user or 60 cpu and user?

I also can't complete any passes with qb acc at 5

with user pass block that low a bad defensive line blew right through a decent o-line on 4 of 5 pass plays and destroyed my QB before I could blink. Also, on Heisman defense I constantly have 175 pound backs and receivers run through 250+ pound defensive players like they weren't there, and even mediocre at best CPU kickers routinely nail 50+ yard FGs with FG power set at 50, much less 75. QB accuracy was off too, both my QB and the CPU were well under 50%, missing wide open receivers while standing still (once I increased pass block so I had more than 1 second to throw).

                          1. Weight doesn't mean anything. This is a game engine limitation, not a slider issue
                          2. FGP is set high for other effects. Maybe not overly realistic, but the CPU tries them anyways...better to give them a chance.
                          3. QBA varies from game-to-game.
                          4. PBK is fine as is. You have to adjust your line blocking to pass block pre-snap and worst-case, adjust your coach tendency in-game to hold more. Adjusting any value will have a deleterious effect on the overall balance of the set.

Set your QBs feet before throwing. Warm him up by completing short passes first, then go deep. Most importantly, use the sticks to lead receivers and don't jam down on the buttons for every throw. You have to use touch on the controller, just as a QB in real life has to put touch on his throws.

Use 50 sub frequency for both CPU and User coaches. The opening post has been revised to remove old language...sorry for the confusion.

Anyway to improve difficulty? I'm wanting realism and the chance at being beaten with even teams. I beat UF with Vols 52-10 on this set. 17-10 at half turned into a blow out. The stats were realistic but Gators couldn't score. I'll play another one soon enough to determine if this was a fluke

Just keep playing....every game seems to have a different feel and momentum can quickly swing the game one way or another.

One question though, did you set the coach sub frequencies to 50 before the game for both teams? I haven't seen too many CPU collapses like that since I switched over to that....
