Good question! Never thought to do that but might be worth trying out.

Josh, I love the feel of the sliders, and I'm positive I have everything setup right, but the CPU lacks a running game against me. They tend to run more East-West than North-South against me. I for the life of me can't figure out how to make them more of a threat on the ground, without messing up the harmony of the sliders elsewhere. I have played several games, and I'm getting the same results, no running game threat for the CPU.

In madden, 100% yes (but it will play closer to the difficulty in the franchise/dynasty mode than the one in the main menu).

I have tested on NCAA...but not enough to say definitively.

          Hey Ballin....

I haven't played much recently, but I actually recall the opposite in my experiences (the CPU run game has been one of my favorite aspects of this setup). It very much depends on the RBs you play against and college ball has a lot of little, elusive guys. If you haven't already, try to get a game in against a tough burly power back and see how it goes.

It might also be a result of how you defend. What position do you user? I typically roll with a d-linemen exclusively.

Before suggesting anything, I am just curious....

I typically play d-lineman myself. My defense is very highly rated and very fast, so it could be that factor. I'm going to keep going to see if I see any change. I'll let you know.

Gotta tell ya....if you have a highly rated defense and mismatches in your favor, you're going to see it in full action with this setup.

To be honest, I got tired of having highly rated user defenses trampled on for big yardage like how we used to set up slider sets in the old days. Just as an example from real life, Ohio State held a decent Maryland team to 66 total yards last week (35 of it on one play).

My intention was to allow for these sorts of things to happen for both the user and CPU. I've steamrolled bad teams and have been steamrolled by good teams.

If you want a 'reality check' to make sure these sliders will work for you, maybe run a test dynasty with a bad team for a few games and see how you perform. If you dominate with a bad team when you shouldn't based on ratings, this setup may not be compatible for you. However, if you start to get killed, it could very well be a sign that the ratings are playing out well for you (and thus helping to explain what you've been seeing in your existing dynasty).

Let me know how it goes....

So i decided to run a test game from within my current dynasty. I'm using 74 ovr New Mexico State, on the road against 91 rated Louisville. On Louisville's first drive, I can already see a difference. I'll keep you updated...

Re: 50(ish) Threshold-based Slider Set for NCAA 14

So, after finishing the Louisville and NM State game, I'm convinced that my team is just that stacked! I got rolled 34-6. Lamar Jackson made me look simply stupid at times, as he should. Louisville jumped out to a 24-0 lead before I even sniffed the endzone. I held my own in the 2nd half, but the damage had already been done.

I'm going to continue to test things out and further convince myself at how stacked my team really is.

Any easy way to change all coaches to offensive/defensive sub frequency to 50 as well as the defensive run/pass ratio?

Do you know if there's anything you can change in the game that will make the CPU more likely to use their star players?

For example, let's say that the CPU has either an impact player or top rated FB or WR. Is there any way to make the CPU use these players more since they are the best on the team...or is the game not that smart? The CPU might already do this, but I just haven't played enough games to tell.
