      50(ish) Threshold-based Slider Set for NCAA 14

Anybody else getting a huge lack of penalties?

Last Game 2 false starts by my opponent, none for me.

You’ll never get a good number of penalties with this game and the penalty sliders themselves are mainly just gameplay modifiers that upset the game balancing.

It's subtle, but because players aren't strafing automatically, you get tackle animations at more oblique angles, which results in better overall tackle variety from what I've seen.

Not sure who that is directed to Scott. As for me, I impose no restrictions on scouting. The other recruiting house rules I spell out on the OP eliminate the 'scout and dump' factor (specifically the rule that you cannot remove a player from your scouting list unless he has committed to another school). With those house rules in place, scouting is now more of a means of getting a 'deep dive' to help prioritize which players from your 35-man "short list" you want to go after.

I've had numerous instances where all the guys from a position wound up being busts...it hurts, but it happens IRL too. Many folks not using this restriction would see a bust, dump him off the list, add another guy, scout him, and rinse/repeat until they got a "good player".

              No problem. Thanks.

Can’t preach sample size enough with these. Mid way through year 4 and I’m still seeing so much variety, as well as new things. A great example would be just my last two games. Both at home, one against PSU and the other OSU. We stifled PSU rushing attack in the first game and held them to literally 1 yard rushing. Very next game, against a clearly superior OSU team, we give up 268 yards rushing. Including a 95 yard TD by their RB. What a difference a week makes.

Though Im not using these sliders to a T I am using the house rules....has anyone had the OC and DC fired and replaced by better coaches? In my second season I lost both my OC and DC we went 1-11 haha. My second season I gained a level 10 DC with tons of tree blocks unlocked I take it this is just part of the game and nothing you can do about it....because I am not spending any of my coach points on anything.

I went 8-2 with Texas State in year one, my DC and HC were fired. My HC is a level 20 now, DC is from Tulsa.

Been using the exact OP settings and can actually say it is so damn fun to just enjoy the game and not worry about manipulating sliders. The one question I have is for many years I’ve done major injury rating edits I believe the user Stonecalf is the ones I use. Josh do you think these injury rating edits would throw anything out of wack? Just curious because the extra edits always provided my dynasty with a little more dynamic with actually having to worry about star players becoming injured.

It won't effect the actual gameplay.

Absolutely. I mean, this is an RPG...'leveling-up' is definitely part of it.

Josh the one thing I haven't done is manually go in and edit the Auto Subs to 50....Do you have to go in and do that for every HC,OC, and DC individually ?
