    Yup or use an editor.

Not smart enough to use an editor haha. Plugging away manually (long process) correct me if Im wrong it appears the OC/DC are all already set to 50/50 or am I just seeing coincidence my first 50 coaches or so? Im using the default coaches.

Also, sorry to hammer you with questions as you progress in your dynasty will knew coaches be created atomically like when some one retire, and is it possible to edit those coaches to 50 auto sub when the dynasty already has started....does that makes sense?

I'm confused. The OP says to leave auto subs at default 60/80 so why are we talking about 50/50? Did I miss something?

Edit: Nevermind. I see it now. It's the coach sub frequencies rather that the auto subs that are set to 50.

I haven’t played in awhile but I am terrible at this game now! 😆 I’m using your sliders and I’m using Mizzou and using updated rosters from the community. I just gave up 65 points to Toledo in a big loss. Then followed that up with a 41-34 win over Indiana in which their backup QB threw for 500 yds!! I have some work to do
          NFL: Cowboys
          NCAAB: Mizzou, Saint Louis
          NCAAF: Mizzou
          MLB: Cardinals

Re: 50(ish) Threshold-based Slider Set for NCAA 14

So I'm playing with Penn State with the 2013 rosters, year 2 of the Bill O'Brien era.

Started off 5-0 (1-0) and moved up to #24 in the polls. The 3-2 Michigan Wolverines are coming to Happy Valley for a Saturday night white-out game. Well, I can't stop them for anything, but they can't stop Big 10 Freshman of the year candidate Christian Hackenberg either and it's back and forth all game.

Fast forward to late in the 4th, scored tied 31-31 in the final minutes, PSU is driving down the field and gets to around the Michigan 25 and calls a timeout with 4 seconds left to try the game winning FG. On the previous play I tried to run right up the middle to be in the center of the field but was veered towards the right hash. Wolverines TO to freeze the kicker (I hate that thing and actually forgot about it) and I miss wide left. Errrr (and also great too as that is a serious pressure kick for a college kid and I would have easily nailed it.) If I was dead center as I intended I still would have able to hit that kick most likely even with the freeze. The freeze in this game is hard as it changes everything.

We go to OT, both teams score TDs in the first two OT periods and we move to the third OT, Michigan gets the ball first and kicks a FG. PSU drives down to the 3 yard line, and call a slant for WR Allen Robinson. As soon I as throw it I knew it was a bad decision and it's picked off in the end zone - game over. Michigan wins 48-45 and this game is named my number 2 ESPN Instant Classic. PSU drops out of the top 25 and now must prepare to go to Columbus to face the second ranked Buckeyes in a Saturday night showdown for the Leaders division lead.

            This game is awesome.

Terps went 7-6 in Year 4 and won the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. We’re now 31-21 through 4 years and are 3-1 in bowl games. We got a 5 year extension in the offseason and are looking really good for next year with a lot of returning talent. Some highlights from the year were finally being able to beat Rutgers and having a red shirt freshman QB take over mid way through the year. We also had our freshman phenomenon at wide receiver repeat the feat as a sophomore. Amassing 75 catches for 1233 yards and 8 TD. Can’t wait to see what he does his junior year.

Side notes: We have had a winning record for 4 straight years, first time since 1982-1985.

#1 Miami loses to #2 OSU (27-21) in the National Championship. Miami falling just short of back-to-back championships.

TC0 I found a thread about that issue you were having with scheduling...some good info here ....

                https://forums.operationsports.com/f...hedules-2.html

I royally screwed up by dynasty with so many changes lol. If you do not have even divisions like 6 and 6 and you have say 6 and 7 creates uneven conference scheduling which I noticed a few years in. Some teams were only having 10 and 11 games a year instead of 12. So what I did was created another landscape similar to the 80s with no conference championships....EPIC disaster its cool in the sense that every game matters some teams get royally screwed which was common back then like SM in 83 I believe with no losses and tie while PSU had 1 loss. But what happens is the annual games like the Iron Bowl or Mich/OSU stay the same week but the teams will schedule an additional conference week of games AFTER to make up for the loss of conference championship week so almost every team plays on Army/Navy week for example OSU played Mich St.

                I also found this

                https://forums.operationsports.com/f...nce-games.html

PS I also got fired after year 2 at Umass for only have 4 total wins in 2 years lol

Love the amount of updating you’ve done with your dynasty, it’s reassuring to someone who was interested in trying this out. I have 2 questions:

                  1. Do you make any edits to QB accuracy on your team? Just curious if you have inaccurate throws

                  2. Do you see injuries that last multiple weeks on your team? I edited all my player’s injury ratings based on Stonecalf’s system and I have tons of injuries all game long. It seems overboard

Ive never heard a compelling argument for having the speed threshold at anything other than 0 for any NCAA games. It's just more realistic that way. And it still doesn't eliminate all the catch up speed issues.

Because when it is at 0, the game basically relies on solely the acceleration rating and the speed rating is virtually meaningless. Thresh at 100 is the opposite, everything is driven by the speed rating and acceleration is virtually worthless.

All player ratings should matter, if they don't, then the setting doesn't work properly IMO.

Player fatigue (sub frequency slider for coaches, autosubs, and the coach progression setting) are much bigger influences on player movement/separation as fatigue is the third key element in player locomotion.

Josh, I seriously love this set.I see nw animations, even had an offensive pass interfernce call in this game on my oppenent (NIU). I like to start from the ground up and am playing with Eastern Michigan, 1 star and using your recruiting rules. I am 4-4,beat NIU at NIU playing good defense but lost too Army (could'nt stop that option unless I contained QB with the 2 ends but even then did not want too do t everytime...(felt like cheese)

Ofensively, using Stanford's playbook and not calling same play twice. No 4 verts and tryng to mix it up.

                        Have fun all

As long as you follow Josh's recruiting rules to a tee, I guarantee you that the game starts to play even better once the real life players are purged.

THIS is what really intrigues me a ton. I've never made it to the point where it was all game-generated players. If it's anything like Madden, it's gotta be a heckuva lot better.
