Re: 25 Things To Know About Madden NFL 16’s Franchise Mode (Game Informer)
@skyboxer.. I use the term sheep because I played 2k since 2knothing and everyone was playing live.. but I kept telling them 2k is more realistic and that's all you need to be successful.. they laughed.. 13 years later the more realistic game is still around and they play 2k now all of a sudden... the one that doesn't listen to its hardcore fans is on life support.. casuals go with the wind but passionate fans keep you around.. hence madden needs to start listening to its hardcore fans quickly... now whats up with the ticker????????????
The weirdest thing about all of this to me is that most of us hardcore fans are all asking for the same 2 or 3 things; Better drafts/scouting, better long term gameplay (progression/regression, access to stats beyond 1 year, etc.) and eliminate the bugs.Comment

I'm kind of annoyed that both WR's in that screenshot are 6'4" and over 220 lbs. I know that bigger WR's are more common now, but I don't want to see every team have 3 or 4 guys that are 6'4" or more after 3 years in franchise.Comment

YES, another good point. Players with Calvin Johnson-like measurables come around like once every 20 years, there's not 2 or 3 every draft.Comment

Yea, we just have to pretend every major star from college football today up and decides to boycott playing in the NFL. You're a UGA fan? How much more fun would Madden 15 have been if past year one Todd Gurley was in your league, not to mention all the other NCAA stars? In Madden 16, with no draft class or player editing, Nick Chubb is going to magically vanish from the football world. I'm sorry, that's just not fun for me. If we can't edit these guys into the game, I'll just keep playing Madden 12 and hope it's put in to '17.Comment

This is the one feature that I definitely like. While the benefits are probably mainly meant for online leagues, I like what it could mean for adding difficulty/excitement to my single player CFM. I could see being mid-to-late in the season and making sure that I can guarantee my top divisional rival(s) getting wins vs other CPU teams. It could ensure that a week 16 or 17 matchup is battling for a divisional title or wildcard spot. I like having control over things like that.Comment

I'm a 30+ year old gamer. I'm feeling more and more that this game isn't made for my generation.
I've bought Madden the last couple years because of my love of football gaming. I keep praying for options. Hope they come true soon.
The changes or updates to connected franchise aren't exciting to me, especially if there still remains a lot of eye sores to the game or things that just take away from any fun of the game, I can't stand the robo QB thing.
I feel like ratings still don't matter. I can dominate a game with a 60 Rated QB. It shouldn't be the case.
The franchise changes don't motivate to buy the game. I need more creativity.
Oh well.
As long as it just isn't full of bugs, where the progression doesn't work and takes away from any chances of sim feel, I guess I'll be ok. I'll try to find the game on eBay or something.Comment
