It would affect all CFM types.

To be honest my last game was a crazy 45-42 loss I wasn't paying attention to ratings.

On the regression front I did noticed Justin Pugh was rated at a 54 for some reason in the in game depth chart.

My testing time is going to be real limited as I have less than 45 minutes left on my trial.

Really unfortunate about all these bugs. If it takes 4-6 weeks to fix, it may not get touched too much with 2k coming out.

I love the gameplay, but these bugs are going to really limit my interest.

I started an online CFM this year just because of this. The big downside though is twice this year already in the fourth quarter I've lost connection to the EA servers causing me to have to restart. I play 15 minute quarters and was not impressed.

This may have been asked already, but does it only happen when you have a big lead. I've played 2 games in my cfm with the Raiders and it didn't see any crazy jumps in ratings. I didn't see any at all actually. I got my *** kicked in the first game, but I was still completing drive goals. Second game I was up 14-0 and still didn't see anything. I was still seeing the +1, + 80...etc completing goals, but no in game boosts.

thats what i originally thought (that it happened when u got big leads) but its actually tied to drive goals. so in theory u could blow out a team but NOT complete the goals, and therefor not experience the huge ratings boosts.

Got ya, my trial is almost over so I'll probably just hold off until release day and see what happens.

So we just have to intentionally fail drive goals?

So is there a confirmed workaround for this? This deeply affects offline CFM to the point of where the inflated ratings is gamebreaking for franchise mode.

Have you guys been able to find a workaround? Is it just purposely failing drive goals and that's it? What about winning games and players gaining confidence and all that?

It also affects the cpu contolled team. So if they complete drive goals there ratings get boosted

Ok I have never post on here but have used sliders to help me while I made my own. I want to tell you all that this is tied to drive goals and cnf rating. To fix just reset cnf when peoples gets really high. It sets it all back to 50 and you have a few games til this happens again. Good thing they put that in this years game.

basically, so turning them on them purposly failing them would be a good start. if it indeed is tied to drive goals then doing this is prob the workaround until patch time.

Wait. I agree that's a good fix/workaround if applicable (I hinted at that way back in the thread), but I thought that reset only affected players whose confidence was below 50, not above.

Can anyone try this? If so we can basically null the effect of confidence completely in a franchise, which would be HUGE for a number of reasons.

That helps for the next game, but what about the game it triggers in?
I'm confident EA will have a fix, just hoping it's day 1.
