I'm doing it on week 4, week 8 but after the game and before advancing week.

This is great to read. Thanks. I tried the 32 team thing but it was just to much for me.

I'm still doing something wrong. I started a Steelers Franchise and added the Patriots coach before playing the first week. I lost the game and after it ended I retired the coach, advanced the next week and my players confidence levels all went through the roof. Is there another setting I should have on/off?

The funny thing is, I didn't follow directions the first time I read this thread. I created a fictional coach to the Patriots instead of adding the existing one and retired him after playing the game. My players confidence level were normal. All around +2 or 3 except for
        Le'Veon Bell who had +7.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

        Thanks

We can't say if you don't share the player confidence screen.

I recommend leaving goal and xp UI on so you know immediately when the goals are still enable. Last game I re loaded my cfm before doing the workaround and went straight to play the game and I noticed that the goals were still active. I forgot to do the assign coach.

It's weird that all players go up that high. Specially after a loss.

Dumb question. Where do I enable these options?

Also, if I just sim the games instead of playing them out it should still have the same effect, right? I want to test this again but don't want to play the games until I know I'm doing it right.

            Thanks again.

When i said enable i meant to let the Visual Feedback ON for Xp and goals.

Super sim doesn´t have Drive goals, these are for played game only. So no, you don´t need this for super sim games.

Ahh OK. Yes I had feedback on for goals. For this game however I simmed all Special Teams play.

                I'll have to test again.

If you sim only a specific part of the game, it should still work. I never play ST. i super sim them and it working just fine.

OK thanks. I usually play 15 minute quarters but gonna lower it significantly till I get this sorted out. I don't want to go through an entire full length game only to find out I screwed something up-again.

                      Ugh! I'm a moron.

All this new crap they add to the game each year to ruin the experience had me all confused. I was in the wrong menu. I was looking at the Experience Level changes (which is still quite high after one game) instead of the Confidence Changes window which are normal and have a lot of negatives after my loss.

Thanks again for the awesome workaround!

With the work around applied thus drive goals turned off, do offline cfm games play identical to play now games? Or are you still seeing differences I'm gameplay between the two modes?

I'm six games into my CFM and it's playing exactly like the Play Now games I played. I've gotten a wide variety of games in just those six games as well. I lost 37-30 in my opener and just played a game earlier where I was down 7-6 going into the fourth quarter and won 21-14. It plays great.

Keep in mind that confidence is still kicking but not as unbalance as it was, so if you start winning with greate performance your players will go up and confidence will change things from gameplay. Same thing if you start losing constantly.

While we see that the changes are not that drastic on the UI, they are VERY noticeable in game.

The closer your players on the field are to 50 confidence, the most "play now" experience you will get.

Sorry if this has already been asked but can I do this fix if I am in coach mode of my team and not owner mode?
