Even with the drive goal fix I still like this workaround because it let's me fix opponents scheme to match their players & fix their auto subs

I've started a fresh new franchise with Patriots, simmed the preseason, now every player on my team have 70+ con. except a few players. Is that normal?
Patriots are already good but this confidence thing makes them flawless

Drive goals has nothing to do with Sim games. Remember that in pre-season confidence can only go up.

Best option is to play the game, if you don´t want to play 4 pre season games, just set the clock to 1 minute and you should be done by 20 minutes.

im noticing a lot of people stating the drive goals are now fix, can someone elaborate on that?
so is the work around not necessary anymore?

It was tune it down considerably. Basically they capped for +1 drive goal per game.

To me is still too much Of a boost for user team. So I will stick with the workaround.

I've been using this workaround, but instead of retiring the coach I turn it on "full auto - unlimited." Do you think that is any different then retiring him? Then when I play that team again I turn it off of unlimited.

It doesn't, just slows down the process. Eventually you'll have multiple guys at 99 confidence as will the computer, so it all balances out. At least I think that's correct, someone may want to chime in. I know my team has plenty of guys a 99 confidence, but so do my opponents.

I just tried it but my qb got +1, 4 times in one game.. The work around does disable drive goals but all my players have 90+ confidence anyway.. I mean I got a + 1 confidence for completing 3 passes in a row

Was I surpose to restart my cfm to cap it at +1 a game.

Playing against a "user" team is the only way to disable goals. So you need to do this. Or 32 team leagues to disable them.

I'm confuse are you using the workaround? If so you should not get any drive goals. If you are playing without I think you may need to restart to patxh2 drive goals tune get into effect.

I know it's explained in the opening page but english is not my native language so I'd like to have a double check about the procedure to follow in order to disable the drive goals:

1) Just before to start the game I create a new coach (I play the owner mode..does it matter?) When I create the new coach should I touch the settings or not?

2) I play the game.

3) After the game, before to advance to the next week I retire the coach.

4) Advance to the next week and start the procedure with the next opponent.

Is it correct?

you got it right.

no, you don´t have to change league settings, it will use yours. and don´t create a new coach, just select new character and select active coach after the game and before advancing week retire that coach.
