Nice find. I'll agree with those that are a bit confused by the order of this process as the videos seem to contradict the text.

So during week 1 and before the game is played, create a new coach (R3?) for the team you are about to play. Play the game.

Once the game is complete, advance to week 2. Delete the coach you just played against.

    Repeat for week 2.

Is that right? Adjusting the AI coach will still affect YOUR team's confidence/drive goals?

After the game, but, before you advance, retire the coach.

        Advance the week

Then add a new coach to my next opponent and so on....

And doing this there are no side effects at all? Stats run fine? CPU controls all its roster decisions trades, FAs etc?

Yes. It works as a solo cfm

You are correct. There is no need to change any setting for the CPU. Since you are removing the user for that team before advancing week.

Also please tell me what is contradictory with text and videos. English is not my first language so I can and mistakes.

            This doesn't work on online.

If we're simulating the preseason games, we can just advance without the workaround here, righf?

Yes. This is only for played games. Sim doesn't simulate drive goals.

That's cool. But even if you still doesn't delete or do anything the drive goals will still be disable. The tuner thing is another thing completely different than the drive goals workaround. That's what I meant that he doesn't need to delete it for this workaround to work.

                    Questions

                    1. What, if any, are the differences between these two work arounds? The work around at the start of this post and the link included above

                    2. Does it matter if I already have the tuner downloaded for either or should I delete it now and redownload it?

                    3. Does any of this affect the LT regression and QB awr issues?

                      Awesome workaround, Booker!

                      Question:

Do you load auto sub settings and or sliders / settings into the team you're playing on any given week?

I'm thinking loading the auto subs would make them rotate player more realistically in played games...

                      The process would be:

                      1) Create Character

                      2) Load Auto Subs and possibly sliders / settings

                      3) Play Game

                      4) Retire Created Character

                      Thoughts?

This is an excellent find Booker! Good job Sir! I think I will do this instead of the 32 team control thing...

                        1 Question:

Will this work for a 1 person On-line CFM? Or just 1 person Off-line CFM's?

It would only work for offline CFM. To even attempt to test this online would require two PSN accounts with PS Plus (or XBLive).

                            Ah gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.

(I've never actually done an On-line CFM so I wasnt sure)

Also, once again, great find Booker!

There is no need to change anything when creating the character as shown on the video by doing what I show is good enough to go and play. The league settings that is being use is the commissioner settings sliders.

The auto sub is a setting is independent. For each user. So it won't affect your subs. I don't know if it will take into consideration the subs for the other team. But to make it work there is no need. I didn't play around with different options like assigning a playbook to the other team etc. any discovery that gives user options is more than welcome.

                                1. I'm not entirely sure which two approaches you are referring to.

                                2. It's does matter if you have already downloaded the tuner if it was before you installed the patch. It ties into your third concern, with the tuner installed before the patch I believe people saw QBs with eradict behaviour that resulted in a large number of scramble sacks that in result would lower the QB Awareness and LT Pass Block as the regression model should. Now having the patch installed, deleting the tuner, then redownloading the tuner fixes those issues. That and it is suggested to set the CPU to progress players weekly or every 4 weeks as this helps counter the QB and LT regression.

So to clarify as Booker and A&S have said, this fix and the 32 team option is only to remove drive goals from user played games and thus reducing the arbitrary and overpowered confidence boost drive goals would provide
