So what does Rivers do(fyi I play 5 games and sim the rest)? Just win league MVP lol. I'm currently in the Super Bowl going against Green Bay. What do I do now? Reed is now a 91 ovr. Rivers is 97. How do you trade the league MVP? Especially if I win the Super Bowl. I like to keep my CFM as close to real life as possible(meaning would this actually happen). I don't think that would ever happen in real life. Kinda bummed. But maybe Rivers will retire and go out on top. We'll see.
That's one heck of a dilemma! I had an easy out as in the season prior to drafting the QB Rivers missed the final 1+ games + Wildcard Round with an injury. I lost the WC game with Ryan Mallett running the show! Mid 30's QB coming off an injury with good rating vs electrifying young talent who is super mobile + nearly as good in all passing categories + stronger arm. I had a much easier decision on my hands.

Rivers seems to have earned at least one more year after getting you to the Super Bowl. Maybe you get lucky and he retires if you win! Or maybe he regresses badly and makes the decision easier.

Pretty happy with these picks for where they were.

I'd say these two fit into the gem category based on their OVR and where they were drafted.

I wouldn't say that they qualify as freaks/studs. I look for physical attributes for those categories. The RB is slow, which is one of the hardest things to change, and the DT is weak.

Both should be solid contributors though!

I completely agree. Hopefully it won't affect the RB too much since he's a power back, and the DT will have good power/finesse moves for pass rushing.

Has anyone had any experience with choosing players that missed the combine and have no grade? I was wondering if there was a common trend with these players in regards to their development or ability.

Drafted HB Dakieston Cole in round 4, projected early 6. 88 speed,87 strength, 94 agility, 91 accel, 89 trucking. Absolute beast so far in practice mode

I've only drafted two of them and they both were Star Dev and impact players their rookie season. I don't know if it's like that for all of them, but I didn't have many needs to decided to take shots in the dark when I drafted them.

I drafted a RB that skipped the combine, he had superstar trait and good attributes. He's currently my starting running back.

Sorry if this has been covered, but how weird is it that there are NO wideouts that are 6'3" or 6'5"? Seriously? And I'm pretty sure that no 6'4" WR will ever have 90+ ACC. Has anyone seen otherwise?

Also, with HB's, has anyone ever seen higher than 92SPD?

I wanted to draft a TE that i saw who missed the combine, adam shefter said something about him having heart problems and whatnot. But the guy went in the 4th round as a superstar trait with 87 speed and 78 strength and i usually dont see TE's with those skills.

Has anyone ever had the new say that a HB's father was a track star running the 100 and 200?

Just had the one where the HB's father was a track star...he had Superstar trait, but "only" 90 Spd. I was hoping I would finally see a HB with a mid to high 90's speed.

Anyone ever see a WR with 90+ for Spec Catch in a draft?

Ah thats a letdown, i was hoping for at least 93 speed, however he is a power back so if he comes with 90 SPD he will be another monster back.

I have not seen Spec Catch as an A+ but honestly i dont scout many of the route running or red zone threat receivers because they usually have putrid speed

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the receivers' height "bug" lol. That always bothered me.

There are some pretty severe limits on the draft generator that guarantee we'll never see rookies in the mold of some of the current/past stars.

No Calvin Johnson. No JJ Watt. No A.J. Green. No Adrian Peterson. No Carlos Dunlap. No Julio Jones(6'3" lol)

I really hope they don't overlook this and make some changes to the generator for M17 as it's pretty close to being great.

I drafted a 6'4 wr in my last draft

Giorgio bars 6'4 223 lbs from cincinnati

He's only a 68 overall I haven't seen any taller then that though

He has some pretty good stats

I drafted another wr in 3rd rd he's only 5'8 but dude has almost all stats in 90's and higher he's unstoppable.. No defender can keep up with him. He came in a 82 overall I got him up to almost 90 overall and still have 4 games left in season.

I've seen quite a few WR that are over 6'2". None over 6'5" though. As for speed I know the developers said they wanted to tone it down so there were only a few top end speed guys.
