Have they added a lot of new offensive plays and brought back old ones?

This question isn't nearly precise enough and I can't really answer it anyway. If you have specific plays you want me to check when I get a retail let me know.

In regards to special teams are the backup qbs still the holders on kicks or the punters like in real life?

Formation subs would take care of this question. Can we please expand the rosters to include practice squads so I don't have to dive into the fee agent pool? Would love to call up these players as well to get them on special teams (formation subs) to gain them experience.

Also are lower rated players released by a team still disappearing from free agency? Will this be covered in a blog?

A few things are . Could be more but I only know forsure about a few that's confirmed. There ppl that know and has picture proof ,but are told not to share it on os . I get it ,makes sense . Don't want ppl Introuble for leaks . I will say there a few things on the list that is right on . And that's all I'll say !

I would not take any leaks as indicative of absolute certainty that anything will be in the game at launch.

As a general rule, it's not in the game unless they specifically say it is, and even then until you see it in retail don't assume it's there. Software development is a crazy world and things can change all the time.

Does no one remember the wireframe stuff Ian Cummings posted in here that never made it in?

If the trailer was anything to believe, Garoppolo was the holder in that clip so I'd say it's safe to assume this will be the case come release.

Do receivers hold their hand up when they are open down field? I thought this was in old Maddens but seem to be removed in 16, wonder if it returns in 17.
