I've played ~40 hours of Madden 17: AMAlmost Anything (Answers in first post)

If the ball is still tethered to the WR what is this paragraph referring to? Just trying to understand, but I do know there's supposed to be a blog on ball physics.

"Since there is no scripting for the path of the ball, it bounces differently after tips. EA made new animations for reacting to tips, attempted and successful fumble recoveries, and knee/ankle/sliding catches. Also, the player models can move their arms better to track the ball."

Without something more specific I run dangerously close to impression-land.

Not sure if you can answer this, but with all the stuff we have learned today and taking just that into account can you say that playing the actual game makes you think like wow I'm playing Madden 17?

That may sound a little vague, but I guess I'm trying to say does it feel like its fresh and not just 16 with some improvements?

Key word there as I understand the various systems to work is "tips."

The approach vector of the ball is the same, but things change when it interacts with something.

You mentioned the two things you like the most hadn't been mentioned, now we know ball physics is one, has the other one been mentioned yet?

Very happy with all I'm reading in the blogs and here, if CFM has half the news gameplay does it will be an amazing jump, this is the year to year effort I wanted to see

This is the most impressionist of impression questions lol

In terms of what has been announced today. Have there been gameplay improvements that have not been announced.

Do the ball physics come into play on punts?

How does the kick meter look? Is is it a circle shape? I hope it's not a big long bar that spans across the bottom of the screen like in a Madden a few years ago when they changed the kick meter.

I think it comes into play in every aspect, I think that's how they can have backspin punts now.

Yep. Backspin, sky punts are both physics based
