It's finally recognizing strong/weak side positioning, at least to an extent.

So if you call a cover 3 with your SS aligned in the box on the right side of the screen, the offense flipping the play (and their strength of their offense) will not put you out of position, though I believe the FS drops down on the left side instead of actually rotating the safeties.

Does it look natural as these new ball carrier animations play out? Which gave you the most satisfaction 1) Trucks or 2) Jukes ?

Yes, if you flip the strength of your play when you call it, the AI will have flipped their front.

Now, what I don't know is if manual flippers can separate the front from the coverage like the auto flip can. I did not investigate that.

In the other thread you intimated you need to have more intimate knowledge of your playbook when it comes to the fits.

As in real football, certain coverages are better vs. certain runs because the coverages and the fronts work together. Now that we have the blog, can you expound a bit on how effective a coverage like Cover 3 is against the pass. It's a great run stopping front call, but are you able to run a single-high scheme in the game like say the Seahawks and still handle the passing game with the variations of Cover 3 like Buzz and Sky?

Great news for safeties but how about for linebackers? There are no left and right side LBs in the NFL it's strong side and weak side will they flip accordingly?

Can you turn off the visual feedback that tells you your defense was flipped?

How does the v tackle battle work vs the CPU. If it's h2h it's first person to hit the correct button, what about vs cpu?

                    Thanks

Haha this is why I asked about how much did you know lol.

But in all seriousness, can you talk about the defensive flip a bit more? Did you prefer it to be on auto or do you manually switch? Did it enhance how defense is played in Madden?

I can't give impressions of it but cavatappi pasta with meat sauce and ricotta cheese casserole.

Yes. Those coverages/run fits worked how they do IRL. I ran 4-3 under with cover 3 match (liz and rip) against a bunch of plays in practice mode and it is going to be very challenging for offenses.

I think they flip responsibilities, not positions. It's not all the way there yet.
