Unfortunately no. If it's not in this blog https://www.easports.com/madden-nfl/...ures-overviews I can't talk about it yet.

Once there is a franchise blog I'll make a new thread or add to this one.

Edit: I can say that at the most recent event John White met with us a couple of different times, including a 2 hour meeting at the tail end of the event. Various Franchise devs were popping in and out of the room for most of the event. I would say we had a dev handy for maybe 60% of the time we were there?

I'll offer this nugget instead. When you hear what it is, you may worry about how it'll work with online lag, and they have a solution in place already. It was the first question I asked.
No worries. Thanks for the info!

Can you comment on zone defenders defending zones with no threats. For a while calling cover 2 would cause the middle LB to
Immediately drop 10-15 giving up easy quick crosses and slants. Is this still a problem?

The new zone types have different reads and checks, which should, in theory, help this problem. Honestly though I didn't have time to really get in and test this the way I wanted. I was focused on pattern matching and ran out of time.

Some other tidbits: they have not talked at all about my 2 favorite additions to the in-game experience :x

Also, it's amazing how fast the time goes at these events. We had 2 8-hour days and 1 14-hour day and I feel like I didn't get to look at half the stuff that was on my list to test.

In addition, they've added pattern matching to cover 3 (they've made changes to other zones as well but the blog isn't specific so I can't be). I tested it with coach's film in front of me (I'm obsessed with pattern-matching) and I watched how different offensive concepts caused the pattern match to change and shift in real life. I then ran the same concepts in the game and the coverages in the game seemed to follow the same rule sets as the ones on the coach's film.

If you guys want to post links to this thread on Twitter or whatever I'm going to be in airports for a bit today so I have some time to answer questions.
Can you name/describe the zones that are in the game? Buzz, flat, hook.....etc

If you read up on pattern matching you'll see most of what I saw in there. They haven't gone in-depth yet so I'm not sure if I can talk about the specifics. Also, I answered in depth about zones earlier, so you might want to check that out for more detail.

With the the new ball carrier loco do running animations look more relalistic? As in they look like they're springting and they carrier the ball the right way? The running animations although improved in 16 still have a ways to go.

Hmm can you say if your 2 favorite additions are related to gameplay or presentation or what? Lol

Judging by the Gronk trailer they don't look that different

I like these two things. He can't give an impression, so it may just be me injecting my own feelings onto the statements, but I get the feeling, just like with the guys on the radio show the other day, that they really, really like what's been done this year.
