If you're paying more than $50 for a brand new game you're the only one to blame. It's almost impossible to do that now.

Tiburon has kept you and its customers informed, as I wrote in my previous post. Again, they have told you that an app is coming, they are actively working on it, and it is not yet completed. There is no update beyond that previous one.
Would a Tiburon dev releasing a statement saying "we're still working on the app but we are not done building it yet" really comfort you? Honestly? If so, if that would help you, why can we not already assume that much in good faith based on A - their previous statements; B - Tiburon's strong track record of post-release support; and C - some good-ol-fashioned human empathy that someone is going to do what they say they are going to do?
Franchise very obviously did not take a backseat this year, it's plain as day obvious when you compare the change logs between Franchise (dozens and dozens of new features, changes, and bug fixes) and Draft Champions (wasn't touched) or Ultimate Team (only new feature is Chemistry).

Straw man argument.

Look, I understand projects get delayed, for many different reasons. But when you have a customer base waiting on something, just letting them know you are still working on it goes a long way. If I didn't keep my customers informed, I'd be out of a job, and my company would be closing the doors. It's frustrating to me to see these larger companies get away with lack of - as you put it - "some good-ol-fashioned human empathy" that maybe our customers are counting on us and they deserve to know what is going on.....
Now, will it quiet everyone down? No. Some will still complain once it is released.
Personally, for me, it's not that big a deal it isn't out yet. I play solo Online CFM only. Yes it would be nice to access it like last year, but not a killer for me. It's a bigger deal that there is no communication from EA about it. Disguised with a NDA excuse.Comment

You are getting into agenda posting here which will get the thread locked because this is provably and wildly false.

"At launch of Madden NFL 17, there will not be a Franchise Mode website for you to go to and interact with your league. As for a potential Companion App – we are still exploring the possibilities and will be quick to update you as and when information becomes available."
That non-committal statement is half of the reason why people are freaking out. The potential for a companion app is being explored, not that they were working on one. I haven't seen any other official word from EA since 8/23.Comment

If you have an iPhone/iPad and a PS4, check out the app store for an app called "PlayCast". It gives you remote access to your PS4. And works pretty well. I wouldn't play a game on it, but for doing roster moves and such, it works great for that.

so does remote play app from computer or tablet, but they only work with good enough net speeds to work. Some people live in rural areas( like myself) and net speeds are not enough to even connect ,which sucks, but for those living in or near larger cities, it is a good option.
Actually, this app does a pretty good job of adjusting. I can't use the Sony app. It tells me my speed is too slow. But this app actually works for me even over LTE.
Again. Just an option I thought I'd share. It does cost $10.

This was posted in a separate thread by jake_h_8 (my bad if there's a way to tag someone officially). Posting here for additional visibility.
Petition to EA to work on and discuss the timeline on a CFM companion app or website
A Madden CFM companion app is said to be coming in the future, but there has been no updates/timetable as to when it will be ready. We believe a native mobile should be a high priority, because it would allow the Madden CFM community to interact with Madden when they're away from their consoles. There are many elements to a successful CFM, such as recruiting members, stat tracking, and roster management. A companion app/franchise mode website would solve those, along with a dynamic element that is missing from CFM.
The petition has ~400 signatures in 5 hours. Lets send EA a message that CFM leagues NEED this for their leagues to remain interested and fun.
I apparently can't post links since this is my first post so you'll have search google unless, hopefully someone can help out and post it legitimately. If you search Change, org madden NFL 17 it should be the top resultComment
