Yeah I was most def talking about CFM. Im in 4 as of now...32 users each....128 users total. The groupme chat was soooo hype last Madden. People who regularly come through to chat just pop up from time to time asking about DDL's and if EA said anything about an App. Its not as active as before man. Trades?? Lol this might have been the least amount of trades Ive seen ever...I mean EVER! And like all CFM there are users whom just cant help themselves and have to trade, well they aint doing it cause its a headache to look up figure out and link up to complete the transaction now. Im not going to go as far to say the CFM's are dying buuuuuut they arent the most lively bunch right now. EA killed the momentum, seriously.

Totally agree man, we see the same thing.Exactly.Its like all most are doing is playing games, nothing else, they have no real excitement, because some of the biggest parts that make being in an online league is hindered now because of how cumbersome everything is to do without the use of DL.Really sad. By far the least amount of activity ive ever seen out of our guys , and im talking since madden 12. Hardly any trades or even talk of them. Not a random thing for sure, its happening all over leagues right now.This app needs to hurry up.

You guys aren't alone...at least we know it's a common theme in online CFM's. We thought it was exclusive to our league until reading here.

yeah man, its def not you . I know i may get a bad rap sometimes, but i actually do know some things about online leagues and what they go thru. I try to fight fora better CFM for us all in online leagues , not just my own . We deserve better, EA can afford to make it better.

I would state,if this year was the most resources CFM has gotten ( said that last year too) , i would say they need to triple that amount for next year.And please , for the love all CFM, stop spending time on the dang UI menus looks.Its fine really guys, move on to making fully fledged out features instead.

It's definitely the same for GFL too. Not having a quick way to look at stats and up to date league news is a bummer. The group me integration was key as well. Kept guys in the loop as far as his each was progressing in real time.

We are doing our best with podcasts and other interactive things to keep up interest, but not having daddy leagues has definitely pulled down the engagement level.

I guess I'm just frustrated cause this would not happen to Mut or if 2k made football as well. I think they could do a lot of things like make the ea messenger mobile on our phone or link the psn network to see when games are played. It's like leaving us on an island saying they know where we are but not sending help. Every once in awhile they send out a radio signal but than it fades into the background.

I cant believe we are this far into cycle and we still dont have what we need for CFM. EA knows if this was MUT or Draft Champions....or any separate option that brings them revenue, I truly believe that App or DDL would have been functional weeks ago. But lets all wait while they get their speech on why its not coming this year ready.

It's the same for our league. Week 7 in Season 1 and a total of 8 trades made. People just can't be bothered to check stats out on the ps4. We have a forum site, and used to use Daddyleague's player attribute links on the individual owners' trade blocks, but although people are still putting up their trade blocks, for someone to have to boot up their pc and go and have a look at a player - well they are just not doing it.

If this doesn't get sorted out, then this could be the death knell for CCM mode. Is that what EA want? I rather believe it is. No Daddyleagues = reduction in CCM leagues and lo and behold in the next Madden it gets taken out because EA says it's reduced in popularity.

It's not the first time this has happened: EA sunk League Manager and XFM(?) by changing coding and they didn't do anything to help them out.

Like other leagues, the interest level is not the same this year. We have our own site, which is a focal point anyway, but not being able to draw on some of the DL features, such as player comparison, is a bummer.

The idea was not to hurt CFM, but rather to close a security threat and in doing so there was some collateral damage. We are in an age where cyber security is very important, so that issue trumped everything else.

Sounds like it is still on schedule, so don't worry as it will be here soon enough.

If ea is looking for extra revenue like they do for MUT. Than I'd be okay with an 4.99 add on . At least that way cfm people would be happy and EA would generate revenue. Outsource it out if they have to just get it done.

If I had to pay a fee for a CFM server I'd be more than willing if it were given the appropriate upkeep.

If it stayed how it currently is I would not be willing to pay for it.

Just curious, I'm not familiar with what that is and why it matters so much to folks. I did use Leaguedaddy back in the early 2000's with NCAA so not sure if it's anything like that or not (or if the name just sounds similar), but just wondering.

Just curious, I'm not familiar with what that is and why it matters so much to folks. I did use Leaguedaddy back in the early 2000's with NCAA so not sure if it's anything like that or not (or if the name just sounds similar), but just wondering.

Our league has an extremely active chat & engaged/loyal player base, but most of us don't want to or can't be in front of our Xbox a ton outside scheduled games. A web-based league site with stats, attributes, etc etc. was so invaluable.

- Daily checking up on the goings-on of the league.. scores, stats, league leaders. Most of our league has no idea any of these things atm because we don't sit in front of our Xbox looking, but we do check on phones/browsers. This may not seem like a big deal, but it's HUGE just in terms of helping guys feel more engaged & part of the league on a day to day basis rather than for 1-1.5 hrs every 3 days when they play their games.
- Scouting/research. Free agents, trades. Easy to search & filter by the attributes you want. Scout your opponents while not in front of the XB1. Search for UDFAs.
- Team management. Numerous times I was crazy busy or out of town entirely but could log into Daddyleagues to spend XP, accept trades, etc. Couldn't do everything, but what you could do helped me out.
- Stat tracking. This is more for me but I/we use stats to drive our sliders for the most realistic User v User experience possible. Not being able to get the numbers from DL is a HUGE pain in my ***.


I'm sure I missed a couple big ones. Not having DL absolutely matters and I fear will impact our turnover.
