Re: As a community we cannot accept the current CPU QB play.
Ok here are some examples. Its only one play but this is what I have been seeing. Go to 8:31:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/u7TN9ir14wU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Wilson steps up in the pocket. Floyd pressures and he hits the hole and scrambles..
I also noticed that they may have fixed fatigue for CFM. I havent made any changes to fatigue and I'm seeing RBs subbing out after 3-4 runs.
Would be great to catch one of your streams in the future....what is your twitch username?Comment

I don't get people playing all-Madden and complaining that they are having trouble. The game isn't even released yet. you have all the time in the world to practice and play better. It's supposed to be hard, and requires perfect play calling, defensive adjustments, and stick skills. I don't play All-Madden because that is not the game I want to play.Comment

Re: As a community we cannot accept the current CPU QB play.
Thanks man for sharing this! Your one of my trusted OS dudes....so this is encouraging....The glaring issue for me with the game that I have seen from streams/youtube videos has been the QBs lack of pocket presence and the oh so cringe worthy 'statue of liberty' pose on verts....

Aholbert32. I'm going to stream today around 1. I'll finish the Vikings/Seahawks game.

Alright I'm streaming on Twitch. My username is aholbert32.
Here are my settings:
All Pro
Slow speed
35 QB accuracy for both CPU and Player
Lowered kicking sliders.
Everything else is default. I'm using Josh's gameplanning and scheme settings.Comment

Re: As a community we cannot accept the current CPU QB play.
Take this for what it's worth, taken from the impressions thread:
I'm playing the PS4 version and there appeared to be a day zero update. I immediately started playing Franchise and used Josh's gameplanning and schemes settings
JoshC1977's M17 Sliders
....and I'm not seeing QB AI issues on All Pro. I played a preseason game against Cutler and he consistently moved out of the pocket to avoid pressure. Also with Josh's settings, I'm seeing better playcalling. The Dolphins didnt call one 4 verts against me in the first half. That was a guarantee in the EA Access version I played on Wednesday and it lead to a ton of statue QB and bad plays,.
Mill had a PS4 with a Day O patch too.
I mean, run UPFIELD, not sideline to sideline.
So far, I haven't seen any videos of the dual threat qbs Tuck & Running, but, maybe the 2-3 times that all the qbs do.Last edited by D81SKINS; 08-19-2017, 11:26 AM.Comment

I'm playing Wilson now and he's run once. I've only seen him run once but he has scrambled outside of the pocket a little when pressured.Comment

Re: As a community we cannot accept the current CPU QB play.
It's interesting that once people started getting their hands on the game, and reviews have been very positive, that we still see so many posts of people that have been watching videos. Like it's n to enough that people are enjoying the game, but you want those of us that are playing and enjoying the game to join you in the rabbit hole, looking for any flaw thatch be blown out of proportion by agenda posters.
No, it's not the holy grail of sim sports. It is a realistic take on the NFL and fun to play. If you can't take the words of those playing the game, then wait for it to release and rent it. Make up your own mind.
But maybe stop trying to make those of us that are enjoying the game find crap you can complain about.Comment

Does this ever get old, trying to find a reason to hate a game before you even played it?

That's a bit ridiculous. You come in a thread with a title about cpu qb play not being acceptable over 30 pages long and act like people are going out of their way to try to ruin the game for you. Maybe, this thread is not for you and if you enjoy the game as is good for you. For many of us not having to consider the legs of a qb is a huge issue. If they are taking off occasionally and that is good enough for you then enjoy it. I want a game where we have to call defenses based on what the qb does well and if wilson is going to run twice no matter how much you ignore the fact that he is a threat to run, that is disappointing to many people and sucks the joy out of playing against wilson.Comment

He was simply trying to determine where the issue with the QB awareness lies. It's obvious that sometimes QBs are running and sometimes they aren't. What he's doing trying to figure out if dual threat QBs are the issue. He didn't hate on the game, he's trying to help the community.
What you're saying right now is pretty uncalled for especially since he's trying to help.

"Agenda posters." This post made me laugh.
Why would you get mad at people for pointing out a problem? How about instead, you go enjoy the game and let us talk about the issues that need to be addressed?

Nice Wilson scramble. Even Wentz didn't try to to take off right up through the middle.
He's not live right now though - probably will be back on later today.Last edited by bcruise; 08-19-2017, 12:18 PM.Comment

Re: As a community we cannot accept the current CPU QB play.
Ok, just finished Seahawks/Vikings and what I saw was a mixed bag but overall good.
Pros:
Both Wilson (Ideal pressure) and Davis (Trigger Happy) scrambled once when pressured. Davis scrambled 3 times but 2 of the times he threw the ball at the line of scrimmage.
Very few if any 4 verts called by CPU.
Cons:
Bad playcalling on the final drive. The AI was in FG range and through two passes.Comment

I hear this is working like it did for last year making playcalling betterComment
