I'd rather have CFM as it's own separate game.

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
At this point I am so desperate for an in depth franchise mode, that I would have no problem shelling out extra money for the franchise mode I want.
You give me DeuceDouglass' CFM mock-up with customizable draft classes, I would shell out a hell of a lot more than $60.Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
This is not a business model any gaming company would make, but I really wish they would split into 2 teams, one team spends the entire dev cycle on CFM only and the other can do whatever tf they want with MUT/Comp BS and we get 2 separate games. My opinion is a large portion of the games dev cycle is wasted spending resources on "improvements" and modes I couldnt possibly care any less about. At this rate, next year we might see the title changed to Mutten 19Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
hello no . Id stop buying madden .
If the current amount of money this game rakes in is not enough to do the job , then forget it, i am not giving them even more. They are not hurting for money with this title.Absolutely not would i pay them a more penny. This is not some company struggling to get by here....dont be fooled.Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
And this is why ive been so against this idea every time i hear it and will continue to. This is about principal to me, and the fact is they could already do CFM better and still make very very huge profits to boot.
The problem people fail to understand, once you open this door, it will never go back, and in fact you will get charged more and more as time goes on for less content. So once the door gets opened, there will never be any turning back.Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
If it was full of actual additions and I liked what was in it then absolutely. I'd pay more than $10 in a heartbeat.
If they took a single feature out of the existing CFM and put it behind a paywall then no, the game would be dead to me forever.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
If that dlc included custom logos, jerseys, stadiums, team branding in general I probably would pay extra 5 pounds providing basic version of CFM had loads of features like customized contracts, hireable coordinators, features that many people ask for every year.
Other than that, nope.

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
This. I'm more of a "Superstar" and "MyCareer" kind of guy. If EA brought back the ability to star in movies, sign agents, endorse products, and all that jazz, I'd shell out a few more bucks. Madden 10 for the PS2 had the best overall Superstar mode, imo

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
These questions crack me up. Ask yourself, who is EA catering to Now?
Well MUT and online H2H for sure. Online H2H got the stylee they wanted for ranked games and the MUT community buys the game and then spends tons of money renting players for a year.
Online CFM? No. Offline CFM? Absolutely no.
And the theory is that if we just paid $10 more that EA would suddenly make a great game for its 3rd and 4th priorities? No offense, but this folly.
Here's something I wish everyone understood and admitted out loud:
EA Sports does not now, and has not for quite some time, made a football game that is designed to replicate the NFL. Let me say that again. EA Sports makes a football game. It is licensed by the NFL. It does not, however, make a serious attempt to replicate the NFL as it pertains to playing, coaching, GM'ing, or being an owner.
MUT does not replicate the NFL. It is a money generator that essentially allows you to rent trading cards and play football with them.
Online H2H with its arcade mode draws players who primarily look to use unrealistic exploits to win games. The style of play and the mindset of the players in line with MUT. It's about arcade football, but not a realistic NFL experience.
Most on this forum are looking for an experience patterned on the actual NFL. Madden is not going to be that experience.
At a bare minimum, for the solo CFMer, 31 teams in your league can not call plays, order a depth chart, understand down and distance, draft, play QB, produce player stats with realism, block, manage player development, or have unique team philosophies and characteristics.
As a league, madden can not figure out substitutions, penalties, fatigue, or manage to know who won the last Superbowl.
EA intentionally makes the game they make.
