What draft story do you choose for the "former Olympian" and "son of an Olympian" draft stories? I remember seeing them as options in previous versions but didn't see it as a drop down on this version. Love the scouting tool by the way great work guys

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
I've never used this before ever for a draft or scouting in Madden so I have a couple of questions that I didn't see on the opening post.
I did see that it is designed for desktop which I was going to use on my tablet (till I saw that it won't work well) for now convenience having it with me while drafting as opposed to the desktop not being right there, so I got that part.
My main question is,.... How do I get the generated draft class info into Excell on my desktop? I am about to do a draft as I'm in free agency now. Also I've never used Excell so if someone is gracious enough to give me a stop by step on how to get the info in, id appreciate it. I'm hoping it is easy and somehow automatically loads up instead of having to input each player. That would take too much time.
Manually enter the information, including name, position, archetype, skills and combine results. Madden doesn’t export scouting info unfortunately.
Yeah I’ll release the new crib sheets soon. Next on the list. Last year’s won’t work.

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
OMN, your stuff is amazing, as always.
I know you have this tool and the trade calculator, but I'm wondering if you have or are planning to develop a tool for evaluating your current roster's fit with your scheme and team-building mode.
I'm thinking about something that helps you figure out whom to extend and whom to let walk, depending on schemes and whether you're trying to win now or rebuild, etc.
I'm also thinking about something that helps evaluate cap allocation generally and in reference to the above variables.
Do you have anything like that already or in queue?Comment

Nothing planned mate, there would be so many variables it would be quite hard. But certainly doable.

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
Question for you OMN, what would cause a player's TVR grade to go DOWN when his true talent round exceeds his projection?
I'm not at the combine info stage yet but just saw the TVR go down when I input his true talent and found it oddComment

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
Huh that is weird. I suspect it’s because I penalise players that aren’t fully scouted (ie they still need the combine info input) but probably did something stupid like penalised blue chips more than red chips. I’ll take a look and fix for the next version.

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
OMN, I love this tool! Thanks so much for your hard work. Quick question though;
I have 109 players scouted so far, but when I go to the Draft Day Planner, it doesn't show any players for any picks after Round 3 Pick 26, even though I have scouted many players with projected and actual rounds later than 3. Any thoughts? (I'm using the latest version of Excel - Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016)Comment

This might be the coolest thing I’ve seen on OS. Thanks for doing and sharing this. I’m geeking out. I’ll be utilizing this as I embark on my keeper CFM. Nice work! Now Playing

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
OMN, I have an oddball question here:
I know this sheet is intended to give you fool-proof drafts. I'm wondering, whoever, if it's possible anywhere in the sheet to introduce some hidden variance/room for error in the calculation of the True Value/overall ranking.
In other words, is it possible to build some extra risk/bust potential into the sheet?
The reason I ask is that I've been trying to replicate the real-life phenomenon of scouting a guy hard but having a pretty reasonable shot of missing, despite the effort.
In-game, if you scout all the traits, you can never draft a player under 70 until the end of the draft. If you scout only 1-2 traits, you introduce more risk, but in a way that feels silly to me, like playing a game one-handed.
I'd kind of like to be able to take things out of my hands a bit, scout hard, input the data, and go by a big board compiled by my "scouting department" that has some variability built in regarding the accuracy of the reports.
If this is a totally insane or idiosyncratic request, please disregard, but I'm wondering if others are interested in something similar and if it could be done with relative ease by someone with your expertise.Comment

Re: Madden 19 CFM Scouting Tool
I got a Trey Wingo Tweet about a Running Back.
Incredible Wheels on Miles Ecker. 40 Time off the Charts! His 40 was 4.59...not really off the charts.... What draft story would go with this??
Above Average Combine
Draft Stock Rises
Draft Stock Skyrockets
Great Combine
Top Combine performer
Its hard enough to pick even if his 40 was really off the charts but with it being about average any clue as to what to pick here?Comment

[QUOTE=rajone9;2049622344]He was asking for what draft story to write in the tool, not if the player deserves to be chosen
