Ok got 3 fun videos. I'll figure out how to break the madden code but smh. All Madden 11 min qtrs only slider change is tackling at 42.

Vid 2 is Kirk stopping on a slant route pass while the defender stops his backpedal and turn to goalposts animation to instantly run forward to pick the balll while the WR watched with popcorn. Would have better vid but madden cut the instantly reply to when player was tackled so all share play last minute save.

Vid 3 is touch pass issue throwing bullets where ETN was running 5 yards deep on a slant and db after stepping up to make it 6 leaps and jumps for the pick lol. Was even bumped deeper by LB yet pass trajectory is still arcadey.

1st pass was a little odd, but still not a good throw. The guy is playing a deep third over top of the corner route. He wasn't open and doesn't make the catch if he doesn't stop.

The 2nd one is unfortunate. The WR shouldn't have stopped and the DB accelerates maybe a bit too good.

The 3rd one is just a bad pass, nothing wrong with that being picked off at all.

Perspectives can be different I'll start with that.
So 1st pass...te has position to body up defender and throw is there for bullet pass, also throw is extremely off target and te and db even react simultaneously with a late reach animation. Won't harp on it tho. Let's continue.

On ETN vid, pass was supposed to hit that area in the middle of the D in the endzone logo. Trajectory is the reason that was intercepted. That throw is an NFL level throw and not quick lob/underthrown to make the RB change his route to some what come back to the ball, instead of extend up to the open area of the endzone. I understand madden isnt on that level yet.

We all can pretty much agree on kirk helping out the stat sheet for the defense.

I have adjusted sliders to the point they shouldn't be happening. Nothing has changed.

I threw several should have been picks last night that were all dropped, wondering if the game has been tuned server side or something.

The game I played 2 nights ago got into a bit of a turnover loop, but definitely was not the case in the game last night.

FWIW i was playing play now.

Had my first no interception game of my Madden 23 career last night in FOTF. I'm starting to feel more comfortable. Learning how to throw with touch, when to throw bullet passes, use high passes over coverage, and when to use the mechanic has helped a great deal. Before I was trying to use every part of the mechanic on every play and that's just unnecessary. And when all else fails, just take a sack or throw it away.

I need to actually use practice mode (something I NEVER do since I usually revert back to coach mode or continue player franchises). I don’t necessarily care for the 2k’esque shot matter

I just played my first game on the trial. Jets(me) vs Eagles first preseason game. I threw one pick but it was totally my fault. I layed one into the flat to FB who was totally covered and LB jumped the route. Now I picked off Minshew five times.

I can't understand touch passes on this game. I only use the passing meter on deep streaks as every other time I don't need to go outside of the reticle. How do u throw touch passes that fall in the bucket behind lbs and in front of safeties. It's just not happening for me on ps5

Well, after lowering the difficulty to pro, I just threw six INT with Cousins.

I'm infuriated right now and need to step away from the game for a bit. Hopefully we get a patch for this soon.

Yes, I make bad reads, but the CPU picks anything near them and never tries to just knock down the ball.

This is ruining what is otherwise a great game this year.

When doing the training sim that comes as part of the intro, it kept telling my I wasn't doing the thing it was asking me to do. Trust me, I was.

I spent hours on that training thinking I had a good feel for it, and I threw 37 INT in around a dozen games afterwards.


I only get down field by using the same three play-action plays over and over again. Once I'm inside the ten, it'll usually end with a pick if a DB is anywhere near to the WR.
