Wow! Was it an online or offline franchise you tested to be clear?
It is very very evasive of them to put the franchise update at the beginning of the statement and not making it clear the "Stability improvements" had nothing to do with the statement.
They should have made it clear in a NOTE that none of the franchise bugs have been fixed yet instead of having us guess and check it.Comment

Work in software development and yes, "stability issues" almost always refer to crashes and connectivity issues.
A general rule of thumb is with most bugs, glitches, and balance issues the game or software doesn't think there is a problem. The bug occurs and the game keeps happily going about its business thinking its doing a great job.
"Stability issues" on the other hand are things that make the game go "nope" and crash.
This isn't an EA thing. Using such language is near universal in this industry.Comment

I had my original franchise still saved - that I started on release day - and I was able to go through multiple seasons with no issues last night.Comment

it was every 2 minutes. I started a fresh one so I had to mess with the rosters/sliders/subs/schemes/all that fun stuff I actually enjoy before week 1....I would do one thing and then exit out. then go back in. do something else. exit out. til I finally said screw it!Currently playing:

A question for anyone that is knowledgeable in this area…
When EA corrects the franchise bugs/issues…
Do you think it will apply to current franchises OR do you think we will have to start a new franchise?
I would like to go ahead and start a new one BUT just take my time on it; so that I do not get to the off-season until mid October. I also do not want to waste time, for them to say it only applies to new ones.Comment

I have a feeling that everyone is going to have to reinstall the game entirely when they finally get around to their "fix" because it's really jacked up right now. I got booted from the game just exiting from the sliders menu, the roster menu and then upgrading players screen.
Whatever is going on is all through the game completely, now. It seriously is coming across like a virus because it gets worse each time it's reloaded. I'm thinking that I need to just wipe it from the system in full.(...brought to you by Carl's Jr.)Comment

I didn't see that in the game i played last night, but if i get the opportunity to play a game tonight, i'll keep an eye on that. I play the ravens, and for a fact, i have been smoked in the past by Jackson scrambling when playing them.
Im generally not very good at giving impressions, but last night when i started my game, i was wondering if the players felt less "weighty" for lack of a better term.
It was my initial impression, however as the game went along it seemed to work itself out, so maybe it was nothing or just all in my head.
Another issues I had been having was my monitor was flickering a bit when i would bring up my WR routes prior to snapping the ball, and I don't recall that happening last night.
This brings me to another point, I sure thought that the game looked somehow different to me last night, like something graphically may have happened? Not necessarily a bad change, but something just felt different.

We had 2 playoff games in our league not record the result last night. We only had 2 games not record all regular season.
We have 32 dedicated people play through a whole season and now we are going to have to sim our draft.
Thanks so much ea for putting out such a great game. Keep churning out those mut updates though.

I would normally be on board with this sentiment, but i've been playing MUT all month since franchise is broken and MUT is just as broken as franchise. In different ways, but it's just as bad - and has been all month.Comment

Literally never been this bad where no main gamemodes are playable without encountering massive bugs and the devs aren't planning to fix anything until 2 months after launch at the earliest. People love this line, but it doesn't apply here.Comment
