Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Available Today - Patch Notes
From my understanding you don need to start a whole new franchise but any classes already generated would be the same but any generated classes after the patch would be fixedComment

Pro Tip: In addition to these abilities being available on base rosters, these new abilities will be available to equip your players with in Ultimate Team.Comment

If progressive fatigue is truly fixed, the only major bug we have that is franchise specific is the auto sub sliders not working.

The base roster indeed shows the new ability assignments.
I specifically tried starting a new franchise with the "Use Active Roster" roster import option. Micah Parsons lost his Dual Threat X-Factor ability, it was replaced by Unstoppable Force (his previous assignment on the base roster before today's update). Similarly, Jason Kelce didn't have any Superstar ability in the slot where on the base roster he now has Linchpin.
Additionally there are now new tiles in the ability edit UI in the franchise player card to assign the new abilities.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Available Today - Patch Notes
I stand corrected I just went to my existing franchise where I had already generated a class and the players in that draft are fixed Qbs don't have massive guts so even if you already started a franchise and generated a class it will be fixedComment

And penalties. However not a bug. More of a design decision.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Available Today - Patch Notes
I know I'm in the minority but I'm ok with low penalty numbers, I just want to play the game, having 11-12 penalties called per game (NFL Avg.) would be tedious to me. All that said the sliders should work so if they are increased, penalties should be called at higher rates for those who desire that kind of experience.Comment

Collision Detection & Post Play Player Avoidance still needs to be cleaned up. Still seeing too much clipping (Players stepping through bodies lying on the field, players arms & limbs fusing through body parts during the post play celebrations & banter, etc.) This area of the game is hit or miss & needs to be consistent for immersion.
Also noticed they still haven't fixed the glitched jerseys on Sideline players. Some players have no names on the back of their jerseys, some jerseys are discolored, etc.Comment

Seems like they got a lot in this patch. I’m happy with the results. Could always ask for more, but this is pretty substantial.
Interested to see how quarters works going forward.Comment

And Clint specifically mentioned on Twitter that they disabled lower body physics to avoid tripping and falling while going back to the huddle.

Re: Madden NFL 24 Patch Available Today - Patch Notes
I think the biggest issue is that players have no avoidance logic when running routes. Call a screen or a route where the TE runs across the formation and they get stuck so easily running in place. They don't make any attempts to navigate the traffic.
