It’s just tap square. Can’t be holding sprint (R2) either, that’s key. L2 + square is the dive over top animation.

I'm pretty sure it's L2 and Square to slide with the QB

Correct. It's either:

• Tap square (without sprinting)
• hold L2+R2 and hit square.

Little confused here,are any of the sliders changed or are they the default sliders?

Seeing a lot better coverage. People are blasting this game, but this is the most I’ve play Madden in five years. Hope the patch doesn’t screw this up

Agreed on all counts.

Heck, with the Illegal Man Downfield toggled "on" last night, I could've run an entire franchise with 100% straight default everything (even injuries)...I was enjoying it THAT much. Ultimately, I decided to go 50/50 on the injuries just to re-balance and tighten-up a few things.

Difficulty - All-Pro

Injuries - 50

Huge impact here. This tightens up how close the players play to one another. At the default setting, there are huge gaps in coverage.

No, 10 is default in the main menu and 40 is default in cfm

Hey Josh, on defense who do you user and do you switch when the ball is in the air or when a pass is completed to make the tackle?

From an animation based standpoint it was night and day.

- OL/DL interactions: Much less “patty cake” and more of a natural collapse of the pocket. Ignore sack numbers, for me it’s about that pocket collapse

- QB animations: Eyes moving from primary to secondary option. Go check the replays you will notice this. Also saw a lot less of the whacky pocket movement. It’s not totally removed, but it was a more natural movement IMO

-AI run game: HB’s were back to hitting a hole and getting downhill quickly. Was seeing a lot of pathfinding issues until last nights changes. I got gashed for 150+ vs the Jags rookie backup HB.

- DB animation: My guys were arriving to the catch point MUCH sooner. Saw a lot more contested catches, especially on those hitch routes. My #1 CB was more on the hip at the catch point Vs trailing the hitch by 3-4 yards.

I highly recommend following the OP exactly for multiple games. I’ll be evaluating these for the remainder of my first Panthers season, unless Josh finds something else that is a cant miss

I’m a d-line guy and will switch off once the play gets to the next level (whether on a pass or run).

Seeing some pretty stuff

Playing vs Chargers I am Colts

Rivers 21-29 212 ( I mix covarge a lot)

They can’t run the ball, but I traded Gordon from their team

Play attention to X Factor, but I got caught shifting line right to Bosa and a middle blitz got me ( Great stuff)

Got a PI call on a blitz from CPU that was neat

Loving this game. Down 20-10 3:48 left in 3rd

The QB running backwards is a coverage sack issue. Just have them throw out of bounds
