    I’m getting excellent results using the original set (version 1) with 0 int set for both user and cpu. CPU still getting lots of int but I’m liking the gameplay.

      I'll try to test things out tomorrow evening.

      Really don't understand how tunings or patches every year in Madden seems to be for the worse after you spend weeks and days on Sliders.

      Just what a game I can just pick up and play like I do with NBA 2K

        In cpu vs cpu, I’m finding myself really getting into the GM state of mind. I’m paying attention to all positions and making mental notes of what needs to be better.

        It’s just easier to do than calling and running the plays. I’m loving it!!

          I'd love to watch those games, do you guys ever stream them?

            Anyone make trait edits or change X factors to the all qb’s to get more realistic play? Do you make any changes to other players traits or X factors to keep it realistic?
            Like all WR having aggressive and RAC TRAIT ON?

              I do a lil bit with my wr, i make sure i don't go overboard though. Last year i did that n also did a lil stat boost with a lot of wr, some cbs, and my back up running back to be more of a receiving running back. Lets say i went to overboard with all that last year n it got to a point where i was looking up individual player stats to change all the stats i changed back to default. It was all a mess, just make sure you don't end up in the same boat i did last year n use trait changes sparingly, even that can unbalance enough to mess stuff up from what i experienced.

                Where in cfm do you set playbook to run more then pass? Like the stars for importance. Or do you do it in MM playbooks?

                Up by 2 tds with 6min left and we literally pass 0/8 and don't attempt any runs. NYJ down by 14 runs 15x and passes 8. Jets end 25 runs and 37 passes. Browns 17runs and 48 passes

                Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

                  The play calling from AI is awful mainly due to bad playbook designs, It has been for years now. I think they are reworking it next year but at the moment we just have to live with it.

                    This will not be popular on here, but I prefer the Old School generic Playbooks for gameplay.

                    If your looking for more running game I'd start with the old school Heavy Run Playbook and use the Power Run scheme

                    I do this **** every year with Classic teams and get great results.

                    West Coast playbooks are really good to for balance

                    But if you use those Old School playbooks and matchup the schemes that you like with them teams really do attempt to ball control.

                    EA's default playbooks are pass happy and they don't really take into account if a team has good RB's and a bad QB.

                    Much like the Ratings Edits I suggested on the Main Forums yes, it's a pass in the *** and time consuming but EA isn't going to do the job for you.

                    Spent most of last night playing NBA 2K and guess what Teams play close to their counterparts unlike Madden. Played a few games in the ERA mode and I'm hooked since 90's is my favorite ERA for all sports.

                    I won't put this on the main forums because EA lurks over there from what I heard.

                    But they could learn a damn lot from 2K dev's

                    Get off your damn high horse and quit taking advantage of the consumer because your game is the only game in town.

                    There're guys who spend a few weeks after every release of this game and they will have the gameplay much better than the crap EA gives us at default.

                    That's because they don't test their own ****, they just add a few gimmicks, new gear and face scans and call it an upgrade from the previous year.

                    Then I go play a game like 2K and it reminds me just how far Madden is truly behind in gameplay, atmosphere and immersion factor.

                      I do the playbook weighting in the MM.

                      The schemes within CFM do have an effect, and they don't always line up exactly with their description so it takes some experimentation. For example, I tried the generic spread playbook with an air raid scheme (just for laughs) and got a lot of running plays. It might depend on the makeup of the team, but that result was surprising.
                      I've settled on West Coast Zone Run scheme for my main CFM. It gives me a good balance.

                        Have to give an "Amen, brother" to Playmakers point (well, all his points) about the generic playbooks. There are only a couple team specific playbooks that come close to being as good as those. I favor the West Coast and Spread playbooks, but the Run Heavy and Run Balanced are also good.

                        Like the man said, EA is so far behind on true immersion. But I love football too much and can't give it up.

                          1st game with the patch update CPU vs CPU action

                          I set the sliders in the MM and then uploaded them again in Franchise mode.

                          It's early in the 2nd QTR Tampa and Dallas is tied 3-3 with 6:27 left before the half.

                          I've seen just 1 pick it was thrown by Dak in the redzone as he tried to force a pass into coverage but it was because of pressure in his face.

                          I've seen two fumbles one by each team very realistic. C.D. Lamb caught a pass in traffic got stood up and a Bucs safety punched the ball out.

                          Neither team has a single sack so far....

                          I'll report back after the game and post a box Score but so far this is the best CPU vs CPU gameplay, I've witnessed in Madden ever and that's speaks volumes because I loved Madden 20 CPU vs CPU.

                            Hey playmaker I love all your work on your CPU vs CPU sliders. Minus the interceptions they play very well. Sacks did seem low in some games with only like 2-3 total. I did notice over on cdcool's post that orye74 is testing interceptions at 100 and saying hes getting way less per game. Might be something to check out for yours.

                              Yessir we do, every game that gets ran is streamed by one of the players, just had our Y1 Super Bowl and it was an amazing game, managed to experiment and roll the dice on some modified pro sliders and it turned out to be one of the best cpu vs cpu games I ever witnessed, Packers beat Bills 45-38 with the Bills falling about 6 yds short of the tying score, amazing game.

                              If you're interested in watching the games at least I can probably talk to the owner and have him dm ya the discord details, all the stream links and chat about the games go on there.

                                I did this tonight Playmaker n it worked. Thanks, i put everything at default then re-entered everything. Before i tried it, i just went to MM n loaded a old set of sliders then went back to yours so i think going to default then loading everything in makes all the difference. I even did it under gameplay i think its called, the menu where you can edit your quarter length. These sliders do still work with getting rid of the interception issue post patch btw. Maybe a lil tweaking has to be done with to many sacks but its def playable now.

                                Edited... P.S. My bad i just noticed you posted a update @ 5:10. For some reason i thought we was still on page 52 where i saw people talking about playbooks. I'm going to keep this post up to hopefully help anyone else that may have had the same issue as i did with getting your sliders to work properly.
