    thats because ngata plays in a 34 and his assignment is to command double team most of the times, not to sack the QB.

      As for McNabb, Young and those guys, I didn't get a chance to test with them or play against them.
      I think this is the best solution. I'd hate for them to get rid of the option to sprint and throw like 2k, because you should have the choice to do it. It's just that the penalty should be so bad that you wouldn't dare do it regularly. Sounds like accuracy is more important now .

        Keep in mind this was with Flacco though. I'm not sure how much more accurate higher rated guys in the throw on the run category will be. It could be negated by deep ball accuracy though.

          In 2K you do know you CAN sprint and throw with QBs that CAN sprint and throw ? When you try with a QB thats a pocket passer, your throws are off target or badly thrown.

            You can definitely sprint and throw in 2k... but only players with that realistic ability can do so. Marino = no

            Elway = Yes

              That was always something I liked about 2k was their quarterback play. I think it accurately represented the play. And this is coming from a qb

                If the ball was terribly over thrown when holding the sprint button, then that will basically neutralize the roll and chuck. At community day, did you throw off of you back at all; did you throw without the QB setting his feet ? If so, how stiff was the accuracy penalty ?

                  Yeah I thew off my back foot. On every throw I did this it was incomplete except for one and I wasn't too happy about that one. Basically Flacco spinned around in the air and threw it back across his body. It floated a little, but since it was man coverage no one was in the middle and my WR was running an in route and I was able to get under it and catch it. Wasn't too happy about that one, but it only occurred once.

                    In APF2K8 it depends on your definition of sprint. You can move and throw yes, but the QB is not running at full speed. You have to pull RT down to change to run mode to get the full speed thing going, at which point you can tap A for a speed boost as well. If you want to throw, then you have to release RT, at which point you being slowing down again. So you throw while moving, but probably not when you are at your top speed.

                        That's good to hear; this is what will really bury the roll and chuck. If the the QB is penalized for throwing while sprinting and/or off of their back foot, players will be wise to stay in the pocket, so the QB can set his feet and throw.

                            Animation looks good but the qb movement still appears very similar to last year without much improvement.
