Not everyone who falls/ makes a catch while falling can get right up plus there is a defender right there touching him.

Uh, NO? Are you blind? He WAS getting up but a defender ran up and touched him, which means DOWN BY CONTACT.

This is the kind of stuff I mean, people nitpick EVERYTHING.

There's nothing you can say to a 2K fan to make them think anything else I swear, and thats just in general.

Well the guard is pulling seeing its a toss play. (Although he doesnt make it far enough outside) could be low rated players/low awareness. And its clear that the center is low rated player who just cant catch up to the high rated Dt (Tommie Harris). This play happens in the NFL. Also if it is a mess up, why does 1 mess make the game bad? Or a few even? Every game has mess ups somewhere in them. If it happens every time o.k I understand your point but if it happens once in a while.....C'mon man its just nit picking IMO.

Although Im not trying to cover up a mess up if thats what it is but Donnie said that you are gonna tell the difference between good linemen and bad ones now. And maybe that is just what we are seeing. I would like to see this example with a good line blocking though.

Maybe because on every play before and after that the blocking was spot on? The VERY first offensive snap the line creates a BEAUTIFUL pocket.

But of course people are going to overlook it and zoom in on the one flaw in the video. Not to mention that the RG was being PULLED on a run block and the center blew up at first but recovered and blocked his assignment, but lets ignore that as well.

Yeah, but the center had no one to block even though he did that weird move, he found someone to block at the end of the play. That was an E3 video, so hopefully Pro-Tak has been tuned even more, but I feel your pain.

no thats doesnt happen in the NFL. the people that get untouched are blitz plays. a third string center in real life would have at least put there hands on harris. which is all we looking for. i dont even see how u can explain and relate that to real life. thats shocking to me

except if you'd actually watch the video, yes it ****ed up and let him go through untouched at first, but within a second he had him blocked. I like how you also ignored 2 peoples posts after him that said he blocked him at the end.

Im not gonna argue this with you, if you dont think that O-Linemen miss assignments and blocks from time to time well then whatever. I know myself as a 49ers fan Ive seen my fair share of missed assignments in the blocking department. And yes they can happen on toss plays, or any play for the matter.

that was a pass play toward the end. pass and run blocking are totally different. defend it all u want but the DEMONS still exist in madden and until those DEMONS is gone, madden will always be a sub-par video game thats make money. not because of the madden name but because of the NFL license

Okay, I watched that play and Madden 10's blocking was deemed questionable by the person who posted that video. It really isn't that bad, the center didn't have anyone to block, but he did find someone to block at the end of the play. In previous Maddens, this would have never happened, also I'm sure Pro-Tak has been tuned a lot more after E3. There's no need to try to go dig up NFL film on this.

naw im not in honesty i think the passing in madden 10 will be fine. I THINK. i never liked the fact that OL gets to play superman while the DL plays soft but i saw it in the e3 builds and the post e3 as well cause that ia a game breaker for me

run blocking and run defending is flat out wrong

and special teams need working on

thats what i mean when i say cosmetic upgrades cause its just madden 10 will look great to play but still cant be played
