I think I'm going to buy this game for the first time in 4 years, only because of the Run-time physics engine and CC sounds awesome!
But if the would have only added CC and not RTP, I would NOT be buying this game this year.

Will be in line at midnight. If it works as they say, Connected Career will be the best mode in any sports game ever imho.

The poll is a landslide in favor of "absolutely" ..nice to see a lot of people pumped up for this game. There are some negatives in there for M13 but the positives far out weight the negatives. The physics engine is one of them..along with the greatly enhanced presentation engine.

Day 1 buy for me..i'd be crazy not to get it.

It's not such a landslide. I would have expected it to be more of a landslide. HC Features in the game, online getting the facelift it should have a long time ago, gameplay physics being advertised. I'm actually surprised the voting is so close.

So far 136 to 105. I would have expected much more absolutely. That's 105 that are saying they are apprehensive.

I'm on the fence about Madden 13. I used nearly every feature that's missing from '12, but the new gameplay engine looks good and, if it's working properly, CC could be great (even if I can't play locally with friends and family). Right now I'm leading towards buying it and unless we see more big announcements I'll get it.

First, the actual percentage you listed is no doubt buying. You left out 20% that said possibly after seeing those (who will have positive things IMO) who buy it respond, so that pushes it to ~80%

80% on a board that is heavily relied on by editing features is AMAZING numbers IMO.

I was expecting a blowout for not buying. If 80% of us hardcore gamers are interested in buying, do you honestly think the number is gonna be lower in actual sales when majoirty of the players will be upset by the lack of feature but just overlook it and still buy the game?

Before you criticize someone's intelligence, read what you are saying.

He's not saying the 105 are "no" votes", he's simply interpreting the non "absolutely" votes as a sign of apprehension on the part of voters. The same way you perceived the non "not this year" as positive interest earlier. Neither or you are necessarily right or wrong...just over-interpreting fairly meaningless information.

Maybe and rent to me says apprehensive, a little leary and need to wait. To me, those are far from a definite yes. I look at the pole and see those that are definite and those that are not definite. It's pretty close. Much, much closer than I would have thought.

I'm just saying reading comprehension is important that's all. What part of 105 being apprehensive is getting you confused? I'm not calling you out to be confrontational, I'm just pointing out that you're not understating what's written that's all.
