I don't know if anyone wants the title to fail at all and EA is really in total control of that at the end of the day. I thinks it's safe to say that the title has already failed a lot of people with 13 and the numbers and the feedback in this thread are testament to that.

As of right now, I won't be buying around release-day if Amazon or Toysrus don't offer release-day shipping. But I'll still probably buy Madden 13, when it's discounted some months later.

its a buy! for me,has been siince 2k5 died! I AM A NFL JUNKIE NEED MY NFL FIX! Go Bengals!looks good this year not really into all the dynasty and other things looking for a good single player game! occassional online match....give me sliders and I can deal with whatever to suit my taste!

The big thing is every year people scream the game is the same. EA makes some sound changes it seems and is JUST THE BEGINNING....

They want change as long as nothing changes.

Now if we go into 2014 and its the same.. I'll be speaking up loudly.

As soon as I can get my hands on it, I want it. I think it will be a very special year this year for Madden....thats JMO and its an opinion that has differed from my opinion the last 6 years

Doubt there are many that want the game to fail. There is no other alternative. And I don't think people are screaming that changes were made. I think most of the discontent is over significant features that were removed AGAIN. You say "speak up loudly" next year. But it's always next year. We should have been speaking up loudly years ago. I don't think you would have heard much if things were not removed from the game AGAIN. I believe all you would have heard were some looking at actual gameplay that still needs enhancing. Ol/DL interaction etc.

Not trolls or miserable individuals. Just unsatisfied customers. I would of been on the Madden is finally back this gen bandwagon with 13 if they would just stop removing features all the time.

There have been people screaming loudly for presentation, game play to represent the NFL, offline features, online features, etc.....Heck, there is stuff missing from the game that I'm poed at, but it's mostly game play.

I don't know if there will ever be a Madden that 100% of the Madden base is happy. I'm not sure if that is necessarily a good thing to say. We all hope for a game that everyone can be happy with, but I'm not sure that is feasible, especially people here at OS.

And before anyone says, hey wait a minute, I take offense to that, I'm just saying that based on the recent 2 weeks and prior years, there are a lot of different Madden users at OS.

Never 100%. But I really think that if features would not have been removed, this madden would have gotten an absolutely incredible reception. From Superstar, Offline franchise and Online franchise gamers. I don't have the game yet, and I won't be getting it. But I loved HC. Though I had it for the PC and had an editor that worked on the HC files so I still had that openness. But I loved HC, and having Madden franchises more HC like is something I'm very excited about.

No game is good enough for everybody, so that's never going to happen. The best EA can hope for - is a large majority of people - happy with the game.

I almost feel as though it's split between online players and offline players. Online players are leaning to buy day 1 because of the awesome new features. Offline players will either not buy or wait until the madden itch gets to them and buy it used. I'm an offline player and most likely won't be picking up a copy day 1 anymore.

I am looking forward to Madden 14 though. I have a feeling a lot of the stuff they couldn't get in this go round that will be back.

Thats where I'm at right now. I'm not getting 13, but I'm really looking forward to hearing about how people like the new features in it and hopefully 14 will have the features that are more in line with how I enjoy playing the game.

I'm sticking with NCAA 12 AND Madden 12.

im an offline only player, and its a first day purchase for me. don't like that old features are being left out. but head coach 09 + madden infinity engine gameplay = football gaming bliss.
