Man I wish this generation could have what we had in the late 90s early 2000s with being able to choose different titles so we didn't have these problems.

I got the college game for $30 off from an ad posted in the forum. Bought madden 24 used a couple weeks ago and I just don’t really have any desire to play either. I have limited gaming time at my age and have been using it to work on platinuming Final Fantasy Rebirth instead

This really sucks. I hope EA doesn’t make financial criteria to get another year with the exclusive but I know they will.

I have a bad feeling EA is gonna get another NFL exclusive License again after this deal is up.
The problem with 2k is they're too careful
Meaning if they don't get the simulation rights they won't make a football [emoji458] game
After EA Re-up for the next generation
2k should just say enough is enough and make their own football simulator without license

You can only chase the same woman every five years on some Steve Urkel tip
I mean why chase Laura when you already had a loyal baddie name Myra (Sim Community)[emoji1745]

Would love another 2k NFL or football game but was really hoping with College Football 25 seemingly doing well they would consider a College basketball.

NFL 2K5 is my favorite video game of all time.

But 20 years is a long time. NFL 2K is nothing more than a brand name for marketing at this point. If another game were to be made it would have nothing in common with the old games. No carryover from the gameplay or game modes. None of the same people would be working on it. I'd love to see a new NFL 2K as much as anyone but I think I'm coming to terms with the fact that that ship has sailed.

Absolutely none of this is true. Many of the same old names are still attached to 2K, at least the important ones.

The only thing is they wouldn't carry over any of the old code, so they may rebuild some of the same things. Honestly, I'm also hoping that they do. Little things like the way the camera moved, the way you tapped to sprint and held to charge, etc. were staples of this franchise. I hope they can continue those trends if another game comes out.

2k would rather bring every other sports game except football & College basketball
To me that's not hunger from a sports video game company
We clown EA all the time but at least EA will show up and spar with you
2k just on that high of Euphoria from NBA 2k
And with that attitude will bite them in the end.
