I thought this was a thread about better defenses, not which is the ideal slider setting to play on.

Re: Guide to better Defense!
Here's my defense. I currently have two seasons going, one with the Dolphins and one with the Redskins. Both three games in and have yet to give up an offensive TD on all-pro, though I came close a couple of time I held them in the red zone. I call nickle 90% of the time with a zone defense. I take control of one of the LBs, With these two teams it doesn't really matter which one though usually Thomas on the Dolphins and Redskins LB on the Redskins. If I think it will be a run I'll hang back and wait for the play to develope and go after the back. If I think it's going to be a passing play or if they line up in the I formation (unless I'm almost positive it will be a run though this is mostly guessing) I usually just go in and try to clean the QBs clock. I have the top rated defense and more than triple the sacks of any other player in the league for each team.. though they don't show up because they aren't on the list for tackles.. Thomas is but Redskins isn't. I really hate thet about ESPN.. screw tackles I want to see the sacks stat.
Oh, and I mix up my Dline, usually spread them out for a run and leave the alone or bring togeather for pass (usually leave them alone just in case) and change their attack around.
Oh, also have 3 interceptions with Bailey and 2 with Smoot and Thjomas of all people has 2. Bailey and Smoot don't show up on the League Leaders list because they don't have enough tackles.. stupid ESPN stat tracking. Great game but lousy stat tracking.Comment

Have you guys noticed there are a big lack of man-to man plays. the only man plays are the 2-man and blitzes. does anybody know if there are defensive plays like in madden the Double slot and double wide where you play double coverage on the inside and outside recievers with the safties?
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">I've noticed this in my 4-3 defense formation, if there is a man to man play, it sends a blitzer. I see no play that's str8 up man-to-man with the LBs dropping back into coverage. How do you change defensive playbooks?
