Re: Is The PS2 Version Of ESPN 2K5 Going To Use The 2K4 Engine?

i never said pc gaming was cheap. But this all started becasue someone said get an xbox becasue it has better graphics. Imo thats a stupid reason to get an xbox. Like i said you should buy a console for the games not the graphics.

On another note, i despise the xbox controler, even the tiny one. The white and black buttons are simply out of place imo. I wish they had duel triggers like ps2's L1,L2, R1,R2.

BTW i dont like shoots on any console. A joystick is simply less efficent than a keyboard and mouse imo. But for sports/fighters ect. games its obviously the other way around thats why i baught a ps2 controler for my pc.

Sports and fighting games are better on console. ESPN Football,Basketball,Hockey or Baseball are not on PC so thats the end of that.

You have been trying to tell people that if they want good graphics to buy a pc. Nobody is going to waste all the money on a pc. Espn isn't even coming out on pc so that wouldn't make sense for somebody who would be buying an xbox for it. There really is no reason to buy a pc to play games unless you like strategy games or ea games.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Oh btw i already stated that sports games/fighters ect are just as good on pc when you buy a ps2 controler for it.

You're overlooking a lot here, erratic. I'm pretty knowledgeable about PCs and though I wouldn't attempt to build one myself I have close friends that do as well. However, despite that I'd still rather go to my local EB and buy a system with everything already in place for about 1/10 of what you spent. Add to that the $500 I spent on my pc and that's still about half of what you spent. Keep in mind you know how to build your own box and that price gets larger and larger if your ability to do that isn't as high as yours. You also haven't mentioned your monitor which may be a nice 19" flat screen or something similar that still doesn't compare to the big screen hdtv's many have, not to mention the regular ole 32 inchers.

basically it's cool if you enjoy playing these games on the pc but there are MANY reasons why that puts you in the minority. not to mention the fact that being in the minority means in terms of the sports games i like means i won't be running into you online... even if they were made for the pc.

You know that's the reason I have a problem with your posts. Your tone is horrible and now you even come out and say that's a stupid reason. If someone can only logically afford a console to get the level of graphics they want and/or don't have the KSA's to build a PC to get the level of graphics they want then that is FAR from "stupid". It's pretty insensative for you to even suggest as much.
