Re: Is The PS2 Version Of ESPN 2K5 Going To Use The 2K4 Engine?

i can do other stuff with a PC besides play games. That why a pc is sooo much more. Its not like i had top buy another PC. I simply baught 1 and it has lasted me.

Lastly on the shadier side of pc gaming, it is cheaper or next to nothing when purchasing some games if done a certain way, ie burning/dloading.

Also xbl has a annual fee...

But like i said xbox doens't have enough xbox only games that interest me for me to go out and buy an xbox.

You can do other things on the PC and that is great but we are talking gaming here. And for someone advertising PC gameing and how you like it so much it won't go much further is you download/burn your games then the companies make no money off the PC versiosns and cut them out. XBL has an annual fee of $50 a month, not anything big. Still only 180 for Xbox and a whole year of XBL. And the PC doesn't have enough PC only games that interest me enough for me to shell out a few thousand just to play Madden or whatever at 1900x800x1600 resolution or whatever.

Re: Is The PS2 Version Of ESPN 2K5 Going To Use The 2K4 Engine?

this thing is turning to the old PC x Videogames story...

again.. there is no point in comparing PC with videogames.

PC -> Rules Strategy games, Shooters, usually the best pc games are games that involves alot of thinking... are games that take more time to play and master, the multiplayer support is cheaper and better etc... its ONE style of game... Games like Couterstrike, Master of Orion, Command & Conquer, Republic the Revolution, Theme Park etc.. are WAY better to be played on PC.

Videogames -> Sports, Arcade, Fighters, Fast Paced games where FUN is the most important factor in mind.... games like Fight Night, Tekken, Outrun, NFL 2k5, Ninja Gaiden, Prince of Persia... are much better to be played with a joystick, in front of a TV.. WAY better to be played on VG.

if you compare a typical PC game to a typical console Game.. a PC game would be a Formula 1 simulator with all ther mechanics and setups and complicated circuits and phisics, while the videogame counterpart would be Gran Turismo style of racing game... wich is best ? BOTH !!!

so lets not waste our time discussing what is better.. the best is owning a High End PC and ALL the Videogames.. lol.. since most ppl are on a limited budget, PCS ARE expensive.. most ppl have outdated pcs that are meant to be used for internet, applications and old games only.. a videogame is cheap to purchase and has state of the art gfx for 3 years.

AMONG videogames, the best hadrware out there is the XBOX.. the PS2 has a great library of games, but its showing age now, and difference is starting to appear very clear now. We are starting to notice it in games like ninja gaiden and rallisport challenge... and we see announcements of games that used to be PS2 exclusive like Tekken and Winning Eleven going to be released for XBOX because the PS2 has no more juice for them to extract, while the xbox still has alot of potential to be explored... again, i respect all opinions/tastes, this is only my POV.

You can't do that much unless you buy a nice computer (which is really expensive) because otherwise all your space would be taken up.

Well its all a matter opinion, i wont play 1 shooter on xbox or ps2 becasue i cant use a mouse a keyboard. I play alot of FPS wich there are more of them on PC and they are all free. Consdiering i built my pc and it only cost me $1200.00 i am very satisfied.

Oh btw i already stated that sports games/fighters ect are just as good on pc when you buy a ps2 controler for it.
