Sorry thats not correct. If you have a good gaming computer you will not upgrade anything sgnificant for years. 1gig of ram, not need to upgrade for years 3+ proccesor, same deal, top of the line video card with current drivers will only need to be upgraded very rarley. If you have a gaming computer you are set for a very very long time.

As for you simply false statment about not many good PC games, you realize that games like Madden, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Splinter Cell, Half Life 2, Doom 3 all come out on PC and will have better graphics than an xbox ps2 or gamecube. If you buy a console for the graphics you are waisting your money.

The only games I care about from that list is halo, the gta series, and splinter cell. The consoles are what those games were made for and they are better on the xbox. And not everybody can afford to own a seperate computer just for playing video games and they don't have the money to waste on buying video cards and the other stuff that I hear pc people complain about all the time.

PC games are usually just console games on PC besides a few like the RTS(which I hate) games among others. I don't play PC games.. all it has is better graphics(if you can afford it) and mouse and keyboard which is only good for certain games.

Erratic.. the point here is $$$ also.. i also have a superjoybox 10 and play Pro Evolution Soccer on my PC at 1200x1024x32 with 4xAntialiasing and 16x Anisotropic... but do you realise that for enjoying this i had to buy a $3,000 computer + an adapter + joystick and have to keep it actualized spending more money every year ? with the price of the upgrade of ONE videocard you buy the entire console that will provide you perfect gameplay for YEARS... there is no comparison, its WAY cheaper to have the 3 consoles than have 1 PC alone. AND most of the better games will not be on pc.. you mentioned Halo.. u got Halo 1 year after its release.. it was mindblowing when everyone saw it on XBOX, it was a common, copied game with nothing really new when it was available for pc... there is no comparison between consoles and videogames.

now lets suppose there was NFL 2k5 for the PC... u plug your ps2 joystick and all you love, pump it to 1280x1024x32 in your high end PC and play it with your friends in front of your monitor... now take the XBOX and play it in front of a 48" HDTV with 5.1 Digital Sound and i really dont believe anywone will say that it is more enjoyable to do it in the pc.. NO WAY MAN !!!!

im a hardcore gamer.. i love PCS, i love Videogames... but there is no way to compare one thing to the other... and videogame x videogame... the xbox RULES.. is BY FAR the best videogame out there, with the best games for my taste... like rallisport challenge 2 and Ninja Gaiden for example.

It's much cheaper to buy an xbox for great graphics (not comparable to the pc but it isn't that far off) than to buy a whole seperate computer just to play games. And I'm not interested in ps2 games and alot of people who own an xbox aren't so that really isn't a valid reason to buy a pc for games. And since ea games are the only sports games on the pc, I would pass on that.
