You know...I'm so pissed at the people who complain about the camera... From the getgo, These developers had said their goal is 2 things.. Bring a total different experience "Is which the camera is like it is" and 2) To showcase the Euphoria engine... The camera has always been from 1 view.. If you don't like that view then too bad... It's not changing..

This is what I disagree with though.

From a business aspect I don't understand the point in limiting the users to one view and saying if you aren't happy with this too bad.

I understand many like it and are happy with it, I just don't get the issue you guys have with another option.

It's simple.....

No one is asking for the primary camera to be changed. BB developers and all the BB lovers can gush over how wonderful it is all they want.

All anyone is asking for is the option to use another camera. Seriously now, WTF is the problem?

They are making the game, They said from day one this is how it's going to be... What makes you think they are going to change it??? Did anyone ever think that they are putting this game out to showcase their engine?? What is wrong with that? IMO I'm sure they will make a killing whomever they will sell the engine to... Probably a heck of alot more then adding a camera view.. Bottom line, People should know what they are getting into going in.. Don't ask me where the video is cause I don't know.. But the Producer of BB said just that.. They aren't making this game to compete with Madden or anyother game, they are making the game to Showcase the Euphoria engine..

I've never seen so much animosity to having options. If you love BB's current camera great leave it on default. What harm does it do to give those who want a different camera view an option for that? Since when does everyone care so much how others play the game?

Everyone has different tastes, and just because someone wants a different camera angle does not mean they should be ridiculed and told "go back to madden."

I would love to have a camera option to have the camera a little more up so I could see ahead down field more, as right now it's hard for me to see over the line.

Many people will play this and dislike the camera and immediately dislike the game. We as gamers do not want that. If BB can succeed in sales it will improve the football video game market for the consumers.

I believe the people who want the madden camera option in the game are basicly saying they want madden with a physics based engine. I agree I want that too. Backbreaker didn't make there game to be just another madden rehash. They went for a different take on football and in the end showed all football gamers what they are missing with the physics of the game. Madden will adapt to a physics based engine. They have to now. And when that happens let's be honest is bb gonna be able to compete? Probably not. But by staying a first person perspective football game they separate themselves from madden and offer a new and different way to play the game of football. If the devs decide they want to compete with madden then everybody will end up with another camera option and madden will go back to doing anything and everything in there power to crush the competition (ie nfl license) as it is they have stated that wasn't there intent.

Point out to me where someone said they want the "Madden camera option?" Why is everyone comparing this to Madden?

Asking for more options does not mean asking for Madden's camera.

And BTW it is not "Madden's Camera." It is however the camera that has been used in practically every video football game since the early 1990's.

Because Madden was the first video game to use this camera.Tecmo ball was side srolling,10 yard fight was top down.And not every football game in the 1990's used this view.

That was my point. In this day and age every sports game on earth has camera options. Any that don't really get criticized. But BB is supposed to be exempt from it all because it was their "artistic vision"? Why are people so ardently opposed to anyone that doesn't swallow down all things in BB being great?

Again, how can giving the user options, particularly for a game that boasts on it's customization features be considered a bad thing? Are people really that brainwashed that they will throw all logic out the window to merely defend any decistion the BB devs make?

If you like the standard cam that's great. I am encouraged by the news the final release has a tweaked cam. No one is saying they shouldn't have the current cam. No one is saying it shouldn't be the primary cam. No one is saying it shouldn't be the one that is marketed. But give us options. How many times have we heard in the other forums here for other games something to the effect of "It's Next Gen give us options!!". Now because it's BB that's supposed to go out the window?

Seriously what is with the pure blind brand loyalty? I don't get it.

You have every right to call it Madden cam. It was the first with that view.
