Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
Here's the thing: I'm not against having great playbooks or even dynasty content; but keep in mind, the typical customer is a 'Play Now' and maybe a single season type of player. Most of us can only allow an hour or less per day (and maybe early morning weekends) to play your game. All too often our wishes are drowned out by the smaller percentage who has the time to play a 20 year dynasty. As a potential paying customer AND as someone who has helped promote your game (check my threads here) I was hoping to receive a slightly better response. I've emailed my family, friends and even coworkers (and THEIR friends) about this game...and have sent at least a hundred retweets on your behalf. All I'm asking for is greater consideration.
Thank you.
Not going to lie, this kinda seems like a wild response.
We as a community have to appreciate what we are getting. Spear can say SKIP YOU ALL and move along with what he has from this community. We cant EXPECT anything man, lets just support the game that we can. Just because you get a little traction on the game on social media doesn't mean anything. They can easily say "Nah, we aren't wasting anymore time on this" and we will be stuck with Madden & co. I am sure we ALL promoted this game and told people our selves. Lets give them time to do what they can with the requests cause I am sure they are up to their NECK with requests.
Jus a lil compassion is allComment

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
Is this true? I am being sincere - I genuinely don't know (nor do I know how Cam Fan could know). I, too, am limited in my gaming time. But, I choose to play out fewer games and still use dynasty/franchise mode in every sports game I play. I will not play a sports game that lacks a career/franchise/dynasty mode. Am I in the minority? I just don't know.Comment

What kind of new equipment and uniform options will be in the game.Comment

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
We have a bunch of new equipment providers this year so at the very least those will be options.
I won’t know the final uniform and equipment options until we have the new player models in the next couple weeks and when Dave begins working on the texture options for them.

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
There’s always something I’ve wanted in Dynasty Mode but no one has been talking about, probably because it can be implemented, but it’s to carry over information from a Dynasty save to another. For example if you rebuild schools over and over by switching in the off-season then when the years are up you can have an option to start fresh or to carry it over. The year you’re in, players, stats, etc., can be carry over and you can continue. I know most people wouldn’t need this much but it would be cool for like super sims or something like that. So yeah, that’s something that I think would be cool to implement.Comment

Re: Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2019 Development Thread
Could you consider adding reaching the ball for the first down or touchdown? I hate in Madden you have to hope you can get a good animation for this. You should be able to press a button while getting tackled to trigger this. Also to not have this be overpowered you can risk a defender knocking the ball out of your hands to cause a fumble. Also there should be jumping over a pile of players also for another option. And it should have the same risk reward. It should be based on player ratings and the cpu should be able to do it too. Sorry for rambling but that is what I would like for you to add in future versions of the game.Comment
