So far the only mock drafts that I like are the ones that have Reggie Bush going to the 49ers. I hope that does happen in the end.

It is a good possibility this is where he ends up......they need a playmaker in the Bay anyway

watching the texas game today.. they showed a m. brown interview/press conference.. and the coach said that if young stayed healthy he'd be a hall of fame qb in the nfl. im not saying there's no way he'd be a 2nd or 3rd rounder.. but jeez. if he's a sure fire HOF player according to mack.. somebody would be getting a nice second or third pick.. quite a contrast of views on vincey.

As a coach, if a player goes 28-2 for you, I think you would be singing his praises as well. Besides he knows Young's work ethic better than anyone. He never made any statements like that for Simms, which I think speaks volumes.

name any coach from any college sport that has publicily stated that one of their players will be in the hall of fame at the next level. you don't hear coaches saying this sort of thing.. very rare.. i can't recall any coach ever making such a statement.

If Michael Vick can be a starting NFL QB, Young will be fine.

Remember that when Young becomes a player in the NFL. Sounds like he's coming back for his senior season but it always does during the season.

I do think he'll slip to the late 1st, early 2nd round though. No way he slips to the 3rd though, unless he breaks a leg.

The Giants taking Derek Hagan? How much would I love for him to replace an aging Amani Toomer who is soon to retire?

Yah, I'd definitely like to see them go WR this year. Toomer is solid, but how much does he have left in the tank? They have absolutely nothing at that position behind Plax and Toomer.

Does he not realize that The Colts and Broncos can't meet in the SB, therefore can't have the last two picks? I know this is just using current records, but you can't really do a Mock Draft and have the draft-order be completely...impossible.

I do like who he has the Pats taking, though.

Also, all the reports I've read have Young staying for senior year, but if he has an amazing game, I could see him leaving. #4 though is incredibly high for him, I'll admit that...he's a mid-to-late 1st at the most.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jay Cutler as the 2nd QB taken. Interesting that he hasn't been mentioned. Some say that he's got more physical talent than Leinart, but you'd be hard pressed to pass on him.

Ok, Reuben Droughns is the first Browns RB to rush for 1000 yards in two decades and that fool expects us to take Maroney over someone like Kiwanuka?

Or even trade down pick up a 3rd/4th rounder and grab an OL.

I was thinking the same thing. Cutler is easily one the top 3 QBs that will be avaialable in the draft. I'd be surprised if he slips into the 2nd round.
