Re: Michael Vick Discussion Thread
So how are you supporting Mike Vick? "What he did was no big deal, they're just dogs, so give him a break?" "He has paid the debt for his wrong-doings, so give him a break?" Just asking.Comment

And I don't know how you got the impression from anything that he or his agent have said.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Michael Vick Discussion Thread
Also depending on where you grew up, your view on dog fighting as not a big issue or an issue at all, also determines the amount of support you choose to show. So my support again goes to Vick. Just because I have a dog doesn't mean I should hate him or my dog should hate him. My dog doesn't even know who Mike Vick is, besides, it wasn't my dog in the ring.
On a side note PETA encourages euthanasia of all Pitbulls and breeds who have "PIT" in them. So as hatred from organizations such as Peta goes to put fuel to the fire...ehhh.Last edited by "The Jab" Judah; 07-28-2009, 05:36 PM.Plus the jab is sick, and its Zab quick

Re: Michael Vick Discussion Thread
Yeah, but why would you want to put your starting QB (if Garcia were the starter) in that situation? Vick could run special packages, let him take the pounding instead of your starting QB. You let Garcia run wildcat options too many times, Vick might be the starter before you were ready for him to be (yes I know Russell would be the option before Vick, I'm just saying.)
Please don't go there. We need a mod to make an official announcement so none of these conversations get any legs.Comment

Re: Michael Vick Discussion Thread
id blanks getting rid of reeves do this to vick?
it seemed that dan reeves was like that dungy person to vick whenever vick was drafted dan reeves really took care of him and kinda guided him IMO.
blank should'ev never fired reeves regardless that year with that horrible year they had with vick injuring his knee. that fireing set vick back at least 2 years in passing progression. vick was really good in that free roam offense that reeves had for him with him throwing nice passes to mccord, gaylor, jefferson then mr knapp came along and basically screwd him over.Comment

Report: Vick to the Jaguars 'looks' realistic
Sam Farmer of the LA Times writes on Twitter that he's hearing free agent Michael Vick signing with the Jaguars "is looking more and more real."
Another report had Vick specifically eying the 49ers and Redskins, but both of those teams have denied interest. Jacksonville has made a ton of sense all along, and has been called a likely landing spot by NFL Network's Mike Lombardi on multiple occasions. At the least, Vick could be an upgrade over David Garrard's current backup, 37-year-old journeyman Todd Bouman. Jul. 28 - 7:17 pm etComment

I think the best places for him would be NE, where he'd be a situational weapon in the hands of an evil genius, or ST Louis where he has a shot to take over for a failing starter.Comment
