Is it the same person who told you that the Bengals will win the Superbowl?

Vick has more than paid the price, people need to just move on.
You're preaching to the wrong guy... but please don't look for the right guy. This thread isn't about the argument that killed every other Vick thread ever made. It is what it is, he's out now, lets keep the focus there.

I can see how he can be a possibility there. The Bills would be a good fit for the Vick, but he wouldn't start. I would think he would want to go to a team where he can compete for the starting job. One team I could see him go to is the Vikings if they don't get Brett Favre.

It really doesn't matter where Vick "wants" to go.

Man I have a sneaky suspicion that this is a Daniel Snyder move in the making..He is from Virginia has a large following in Virginia DC area and he perfectly fits the the "hometown boy makes good" profile..On top[ of that this is Campbells last year and we all know Snyder is trying to get rid of him anyway..LOL..Have Vick sit behind Campbell for a year learn the offense get in shape and walla Vick Redskins starting QB 2010...

While I agree w/ wwharton, the idea that electrocuting and maiming animals which don't perfrom is sporting is just beyond me. With deer I can at least see that beyond a trophy it is a source of food too...More Sporting? Really?

No, no, no, no, hell no, please no, God no.
Ha, nothing against Vick But as a Skins fan, Campbell is my boy. And if he sucks it up this year, Colt Brennan is the fan favorite for his replacement. I'd much rather have the guys we have now play out this season, then if our QB situation does not improve throughout the season, we draft one of the star guys from next years class.

As for Vick, I'd like to see him on a team like the 49ers, Rams, Jags or even the Browns. He needs to go to a team where he has opportunity in the future, but at the same time will have to work hard to prove himself worthy. On those teams, the QB situation isn't set in stone so Vick would/could not only push himself, but push the other QBs on the roster and make the team better for it.

                    That said, anywhere but D.C.

Who cares where he goes? He was a mediocre QB, who was regressing. He's been out of the league for 2 years and is now closing in on 30.

Why people were so enamored with him is mystery #1, why people think he'll just be able to step back in the league and pick up where he left off after such a long layoff is mystery #2.

I think its more like, we wanna see if he can pick up where he left off. A lot of people might not think he can, but they probably want to see it.

IMO: Regardless of his production while he was on the football field and everything else, the guy was undoubtedly one of the most popular players in the sport before his legal incident. There's no way he's as popular now, but he still has a sizable contingent of fans who want to see him have a shot to redeem himself.

I like you don't think that he will light the league on fire by any means, at least not immediately.

Actually, I heard on the radio today that Vick is supposed to meet with them. Take that with a grain of salt as it's only a "He said" thing, but the person who told the DJ that has a good track record with him about other 'Skins news as well.

Not sure what to think about it really.

This is exactly right, and for those throwing (racial) darts at Roger Goodell, I think he's being very light on Vick.

Vick got prison time for fighting dogs, he got six games for looking Goodell right in the eye and lying to him about the whole thing, just like he did Arthur Blank.

If you want Vick on your team, get ready for PETA marches before every home game, not to mention a media circus rivalling OJ and Michael Jackson. Is it worth all that for a probably washed up backup quarterback?
