If Neil O'Donnell can take you guys to the SB then things aren't so bad. Hell, even during that era between Bradshaw and Big Ben you guys had productive seasons out of Mark Malone(!), Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox so it's not like the Steelers were in the wilderness never to be heard from during that time frame.

I don't give O'Donnell half the grief other Steelers fans do. He did a good job for us overall but far too many of the Yinzers view those years in between Bradshaw/Ben as a wasteland. As for Kordell, the Steelers had no clue what to make of him or how to use his talents aside from his brief tenure as "Slash". People got too harsh with him in Pittsburgh. Now Malone, Brister, Graham, and Maddox on the other hand................

What if she was drunk? I've seen plenty of drunk people and myself stumble around and fall when drinking is involved.

I really like Dixon. Haven't seen enough to know if he can be consistent or clutch, but he's definitely got talent.

I'm not saying it's not impossible. It's just hard to believe. If she fell over and hit her head, did it ever occur to Ben.. to maybe.. help her?

Plus, I had read a day or two ago that Ben's accuser was 'hysterical' when she spoke to the police. Police said she looked as if she'd been crying for hours and did not look like someone who made it all up.

Ben's true character is coming to light. Reports are he blew off seeing a kid from the Make a Wish foundation a while back-

As we've mentioned a time or two this week, the tide of public opinion in Pittsburgh has turned dramatically against Ben Roethlisberger in the wake of a second allegation of sexual assault.

In Ben's defense, when your doppelganger is Station from Bill and Ted it's hard to get laid the conventional way-

So it pretty much comes down to whether it is ruled "incidental" or "illegal contact."

...or possibly a "blow to the head."

The 2 cops were from this area and have traveled with Ben frequently. 1 was a local Pittsburgh cop and the other was a PA State cop. Both have hired lawyers, but aren't talking in public.

It's not like they're gonna say they saw anything. They're running with a pro athlete who more than likely is paying the freight. Yeah, they're gonna say they saw him engage in some wrong doings.

That's 15 yards and a possible fine. He didn't hit Brady's head though so he won't be fined.

                                Re: Ben Roethlisberger Accused...Again

It's been known around here for a long time that Ben has a pretty horrible attitude towards those not a member of his inner circle. A friend of mine worked for a local newspaper here and the stories he's told me regarding Ben are pretty sad. Of course, you can't believe every story you hear/read, but in that same breath...you can't dismiss every story either. Nobody really knows what's going to happen in either of these sexual assault cases, but I wouldn't be surprised either way. IMO, the first case holds very little weight as the reports coming out about the woman don't shed her in a good light. This case seems to hold more water (possibly because nothing negative has come to light in regards to the woman).

Personally, I simply want him to be a great football player as that's the only purpose he serves to me. If he's an *** to the media or other people, so be it...doesn't affect me in the least. I only want to see him throw for 3000-4000yds and 20-30 TD's per year and continue leading the Steelers to Super Bowl Championships. Of course, he has to stop being an idiot and stay out of jail to do so...
