Sounds like the reasoning Buffalo would have if Ralph were still alive.

Maybe something pissed him off about the city and state or maybe he really sees a huge money making opportunity in LA.
Parking tickets. Dunno why but I hope it is parking tickets.

          It was a tongue-in-cheek comment.

I just thought it was interesting that both cities involved yesterday have a history of "stealing" NFL franchises only to have them "stolen" in turn.

The Chargers will be making a decision within 1 month. I think they stay put unless the owner just wants to leave. Now that they don't have their own stadium, all the revenue from that is gone. They have to pay a lease and probably won't even get the ad or naming rights revenue. Everything will got to the Rams owner.

                Not necessarily true.

The Rams are offering the opportunity to buy-in and be partners on the facilities. They are also offering an option to lease.

I think they are forced to move. If they stay they have to compete with the Rams and the Raiders being a few hours away.

Buying in probably won't get you enough of a return versus having your own stadium. Plus you have egos involved and playing second fiddle or not even being mentioned now. So it comes down to if they want to make some money or if they want to be the man.

This facility is about more than just a stadium. And sharing the profits would also mean sharing the costs and the risk. Until an actual proposal is made public there isn't a way for you to forecast what may or may not be profitable.

I read a story on him a couple of years back where he wrote to his old coach (HS or college, cannot remember) while in prison...he had just been accused of killing a cell mate and he was trying to prove his innocence to the coach.

The man could not stay out of trouble despite his talent.

                        Sad story.
