I hope Parker gets fired for this. I can tolerate Bayless in small doses, but this guy makes me turn the channel at first sight every time. Complete moron.

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
It's on here:
In all of the debatable moments in the history of First Take, this is one of the most debatable. Weekend First Take "star" Rob Parker offered bizarre commentary about Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III that is unbelievable even by Rob Parker's standards. It all started because of a First Take debate on quotes RGIII gave Read more...

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
So he basically calls him a sell out or another Tiger Woods(without nothing to support his case BTW) but in the same breath, he says he's a brother because he has Braids??? Curious to know what RG3 should do to act "more black".
If the TOS wasn't in place, I'd say much more than this but for now, all I'll say is that he either needs to go or at the very least be suspended. If Rush Limbaugh can get fired for his ignorant comments on McNabb, then Parker isn't and shouldn't be immune from the same consequences as well.
And when Screamin' A is the voice of reason, then you know it's a problem.
Absolutely ridiculous.#RespectTheCultureComment

Ive been waiting for this guy to get canned. Please let this be the day. Absolutely worthless at his job on ESPN.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
As a young black man these types of comments really irk me. So because RGIII is a well spoken, educated black male who just so happens to have white fiancee and may be a Republican means he's a "cornball brotha" and not "down with the cause"(whatever those statments mean). But since he has braids it certifieds his "blackness". That is such a ignorant and prejudice comment, but I expect nothing less from Rob "race-baiter" Parker. I hope and pray that he's fired for this.

Wow, it boggles my mind that someone can truly think that way. What a moronic statement.Comment

Wow. Simply wow. Racism at its finest. He should get canned for that. Inexcusable. I just cannot wrap my mind around his comments. If I didn't already think of ESPN as a completely discredited institution I would advocate a letter campaign. Thanks to LBzrules: So these threads won't be forever lost.

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
As someone that has had to deal with certain comments throughout my life because I am a well spoken black man who carries himself a certain way, I sincerely hope ESPN doesn't allow this sort of ignorance to stand. Period.
Comments like this really shines a light onto a bad sentiment that unfortunately still exists in our society and holds certain parts of it back. Hopefully it's not against against the TOS to say that much, but it really needs to be said just to add on to the other well thought out comments spelled out above.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Ok, I was talking to my friends dad about football and the Ravens. IMO the Ravens dont have a shot in hell to beat the Broncos right now but he said the Broncos have a easy division that pads their record and they havent beaten any proven teams this year.
I then changed the subject to Adrian Peterson and about he has a chance to break 2000 yards and maybe break the rushing record. He then says, "Yeah he is a great back but I think Rice is a more complete back then Peterson"......................I just walked away as to not say something and get thrown out of the house.....I mean wtf. Usually he is awesome to talk football with however today he made me want to pull my hair out.Last edited by Candyman5; 12-14-2012, 06:10 AM.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os
