Common with someone who would think a news interview about a murder in front of his house is exciting.

I'm for giving the benefit of the doubt though, and we can never really know. Whatever the reason, seeing someone smile and speak like it's a story on a new bar opening up was unsettling.

I definitely agree with that, no doubt.

Sounds like there is more to the story.

NBC News was showing a video of Smith's car hitting the guy that shot him just blocks before the crime scene and taking off and sounds like the police found a gun in Smith's car and another one in the other guys car.

Regardless, still tragic and senseless way to end a life.

So the latest on the Raiders faux-move to Vegas is they'd play exhibition games and try and get a regular season game every year at the relatively small Sam Boyd stadium while a domed stadium is constructed - if it's approved. They wouldn't relocate until construction is finished.

Hope they play their exhibition games at 11 EST because summer in Vegas is BRUUUTAL as the CFL learned in '94. The regular season game should also be in the 2nd half of the season as well.

Average high temp in September in mid-90's, probably a lot easier to play in than the mid-80s in Miami when humidity doesn't drop below 50% the same time of year.

CFL kicked off in June, yeah, that's ill advised w/out a dome in Vegas, lol.

Either way, I don't think they'd dream of putting a team in Vegas without a dome.

Smith's attorney is saying that the gun never left the glovebox, he had a concealed carry permit, and that his wife was shot first.

The whole thing is really bone chilling if their attorney is to be believed. Assuming most of these details coming from Smith's wife

All the Las Vegas home games had to be played after the sun set. It was pretty bad. I don't think they even attempted a day time start.

Will Smith was shot 8 times.

                          7 in the back.

Good luck spinning that in front of a jury.

The New Orleans coroner said Wednesday that preliminary autopsy results revealed that Will Smith was shot eight times, seven times in the back and once in the chest.

For better or worse, it is not as difficult as one would think. I don't know about Smith's body position relative to his car, but it could be painted as Smith was going to grab his gun.

Not saying it could work here, or even that it would be a good defense; I think no matter what that point would be a weak part of the defense, but if the defense builds a strong case and narrative this fact wouldn't sink him.

I would bet my bank account that it would be alot tougher playing in the LV heat then playing in the miami heat. We get the kind of heat that leaves you gassed after a few plays. LV has the kind of heat that will drop you and give you heat strokes after a few plays.
