Understood, still the first time the two teams have matched up without Manning involved since 1993.

Well, he won a Championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers this pasg season, although along with LeBron, Kyrie, Tristan Thompson & Kevin Love, that accomplishment is HOF worthy on it's own. Sixth Man Of The Year with The Knicks, I think twice , though I could be wrong on that. He currently isnt among the leagues best players , but he's one of their highest scorers. He's no lock by any means, though. But yeah , Revis is silly for allowing Smith to get to him and actually responding to him.

          What????

He is nowhere near one of the league's highest scorers, and to say he is "not a lock" for the hall of fame is like saying RG3 is not a lock for MVP. JR has no shot whatsoever at the basketball HOF.

Revis was rightly saying that Smith is not, and has never been, the same caliber athlete Revis is.

Ipso facto, this is the first time the Broncos have played the Colts have played without Peyton in the picture since 1993.
I dont remember how they did the scheduling before the realignment, but the Broncos and Colts have always been in the AFC. I dont understand how you can go six years without playing a team. We have more teams now and every team plays every other team in a four year span.

I don't really understand it either, but they played in 93, and didn't play again until 2001.

Obviously he means JR will never be in the HOF while Revis will be, come on now.

Watching the ESPN pregame show and I disagree with Trent's entire sit him because of confidence when it comes to rookie QBs.

Look if you allow poor games to permanently affect your confidence you probably were not going to be a good QB anyway.

Their examples of players that sat and had it help them has a problem.
Phillip Rivers? Drew Brees was the starter.
Aaron Rodgers? He was a backup to someone named Bret Favre.
Tom Brady? Come on guys, this isn't even the same. He was not drafted to be a starter.

Their contracts, now that they are slotted under the CBA, allow them to be played now because you don't have as much invested in them like before 2011.

When did CBS stop scrolling scores from other games throughout their broadcast? Kind of a strange decision.

The officiating has been sub-par for a long time now, it's not specific to just a few games
