Apparently Trent Richardson played 9 games this season with 2 broken ribs.

      Damn!

I don't think anyone would ever doubt his toughness after hearing that. I've got a lot of respect for the guy for that now.

I really feel like Richardson is going to be special but have a short career.

Sounds a bit similar to the Fitzpatrick situation last year, which means penalties coming down from the league office.

I said this in the Greenbay/minny thread but:

I'm just do honored to witness what Peterson is doing. I mean it's not all the time you see special players go out and play the way he does.

I was to young to really see Barry Sanders and witnessed LT and Sean Alexander but never experienced the same excitement as watching Adrian run the ball.

He still cannot sleep on his back. Has to sleep in a more sitting position. Supposedly, they were worried he would puncture a lung but he kept going.

Shame on Pat Shurmur. This is the second time he did this to a player, first being Colt, where he put a player on the field when he had no business being there.

                Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

Well fellas....10th straight year a team has gone from worst to first in a division...Washington saved it this year.

So, who has the best chance, AS OF NOW, to keep that going next year?

                Philadelphia
                Detroit
                Tampa Bay
                Arizona

                Buffalo
                Cleveland
                Jacksonville
                Kansas City

So, that is a tough one. I don't think it will be an AFC team and not even sure about the NFC ones, it would obviously depends on what goes on during this off season. Something interesting though, I guess Tampa is a possibility.

I don't see any AFC team doing it next year.
Philly, maybe, they have some good players, guess depends on Foles.
Detroit could be a possibility, but that division is too tough.
Tampa, the weakest of the divisions here, I think they have a shot.

Buffalo and Philly have the best chance in my mind. Buffalo has a pretty good roster in a relatively down division. The defense can step it up with a decent coaching staff, and the offense is pretty much a WR and QB away from dominance. Buffalo knows New England is not invincible, this team has done it, and almost did it again. The biggest issue is we play the NFC South and AFC North next year.

Philly seems most likely to me. Obviously a lot of that depends on who they hire and what moves they make in the offseason. The NFC East just feels like a division that all 4 teams have a real shot at winning most years. I don't see Tampa winning because of Atlanta and New Orleans should be much improved next year with Payton coming back.

Detroit still has worlds of offensive talent, and if they can just stop someone and smarten up they can compete for the division title.

Kansas City, because they are the best of the worst. That is a awful line-up in the AFC, three teams with new coaches (as it stands currently.) and you could argue that they all need a QB. In the NFL if you don't have a QB you don't have ****. So while I think none of those teams will break the streak if I have to pick one, then I pick KC.

Out of that list, I'd say the Eagles have the best shot, but I also think it isn't likely
