Fine him and move on. Didn't really see anything to make me think that he should be suspended, even if his team wasn't out of playoff contention.
You gotta be kidding me, its blatant in the rule books that if you touch a ref, you're ejected.
Not only that, he blatantly kicked a player. "Trying to get up" is BS, you don't try to get up by kicking.
He should be suspended, but I doubt he will be.

It isn't that it's a false positive, it's more of a legality issue.

Chain of custody is no joke, more so if you don't put either of the two seals on properly and it leaks.

At my facility, if we get one guys bottle leaking and it's in a bag of many tests we have to scrap them all. They become null and void and we retest everyone.

Yeah, it's a technicality but I'd side with Sherman on this one.

They get tested a lot, if one is messed up by the process itself then ditch it and move on.

So apparently the Seahawks are taking a look at Ray Edwards and could potentially sign him today. Interesting.

In November, the Falcons dropped a bomb on the league by dropping defensive end Ray Edwards from the roster.

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells expects to play for another team next season and will use Sunday's finale to "audition for a job somewhere else," he said Monday.

I'd assume he would have that mentality every game since they drafted Williams, so I wouldn't expect much. Maybe expect him to get hurt?

Salary cap next season tentatively $121m, up from 120.6 this year, which was barely an increase over 2011's 120.375m.

Any teams or fans counting on a ballooning cap due to new TV deals may be in for some painful off season moves.

Tentative franchise and transition tag numbers:

                    CB: Franchise: $10.668 Transition: $8.939

                    DE: Franchise: $10.984 Transition: $8.994

                    DT: Franchise: $8.306 Transition: $6.919

                    K/P: Franchise: $2.926 Transition: $2.654

                    LB: Franchise: $9.455 Transition: $8.216

                    OL: Franchise: $9.660 Transition: $8.560

                    QB: Franchise: $14.642 Transition: $12.845

                    RB: Franchise: $8.079 Transition: $6.851

                    S: Franchise: $6.798 Transition: $5.899

                    TE: Franchise: $5.962 Transition: $5.105

                    WR: Franchise: $10.357 Transition: $8.716

Not necessarily, a team drafting a rb with a high pick when they already have one isn't the same as drafting a qb, given how prevalent 2 rb combos have become in the league.

Generally speaking, this is true. But the writing has not only been on the wall in ARI for years but has been in local and National news for years. Beanie wasn't cutting it, and was just lucky to get the bulk of the carries because of the crap behind him. They drafted Williams who promptly got hurt for the year giving Beanie another year to prove he can carry the load and he still didn't step up. This season, more of the same. He's literally had years to take the reigns and has failed at every step.

Non-elite Running backs are almost worthless now, they're playing for a roster spot more than a big payday if this past offseason is any indication. Quality backups are getting less than kickers for one of the most brutal positions in the game.

                            Scott Mitchell Mad:

"I was floored by that revelation," Mitchell told USA TODAY Sports. "I had Lomas in my home. I fed him dinner. I gave him and other offensive linemen gifts. I'm dumbfounded that he would do such a thing. I mean, people get hurt playing this game. People have died playing football, and for him to allow someone to take a shot at a teammate, that's crazy."

I know Scott Mitchell was a horrible quarterback but I've got to agree with him here. He basically put his trust in those guys to protect him, and when you come out and admit you basically intentionally got the guy hurt, that's pretty insane.
